A couple of years ago God began to speak to me about using our spiritual gifts in a different way to produce better results. This is important because God wants to update your gifts to be more effective in today’s culture. Too often people get stuck in a rut of using their spiritual gifts the same way over and over, even if they are not producing good results.

God spoke to me to be a future Christian in the current church, demonstrating to people new ways we can do things. That’s why I’m a stand-up comedian and Prophetic Life Coach, as well as a speaker and writer. One of my main spiritual gifts is prophecy. I have been giving prophetic words to people for years. Sometimes I have given over 5,000 prophetic words in a year. My style is delivering them short and to-the-point.

In 2012, God spoke to me about releasing daily prophetic words on Twitter. Well, the interesting thing is that Twitter is limited to 140 characters per tweet. The challenge was: can you give a prophetic word that short? I could and began on Twitter, then on Facebook. It caught on so well that I got positive feedback from literally thousands of people.

The Daily Prophetic Words are short, easy-to-read, encouraging and uplifting messages from God through the Holy Spirit to help you personally connect to what God is doing on a daily basis. They are tailored to give you a quick heads-up, directive, or confirming word for the day. They are not always about the future, but usually about what God is doing right now and how to respond. Often they are based on specific Bible verses but since I release 365 of these a year and need to be short, there is no time or room to include passages. The Daily Prophetic Words can also be used to send to people who don’t know Jesus and allow them to begin to hear God daily as well.

I keep them short so you don’t spend too much of your valuable time reading. It’s not meant for every single person every single day. They are not horoscopes. If anything, they are more like “Holy-scopes” since they are from the Holy Spirit.

Most people recognize my prophetic gift from years of releasing prophetic articles on the Internet, but there are many people who have never heard of me and may be leery of what I’m doing. People have said that it sounds like a fortune cookie, but in reality it’s from the Holy Spirit, just spoken much shorter.

There are many references in the Bible showing various ways God speaks to us. Daily Prophetic Words are from the Holy Spirit and designed to bring encouragement and confirmation.

“But the one who prophesies speaks to people for their strengthening, encouraging and comfort.” 1 Corinthians 14:3

I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.  Ephesians 1:17
