Changing the Spiritual Atmosphere Around You
by Doug Addison
There is a major shift happening on many levels in the religion, government, business, and the economy. This all has an effect on us personally. The good news is that God is beginning to reveal new strategies that will bring about radical change. It is easy for prophetically gifted people to get caught into always looking to the future and forgetting to enjoy the present. I always say that any day that we are still above ground is a great day! I recommend making the most of what we have right now. If you are not happy with where you are you can literally change the spiritual atmosphere around you rather quickly by practicing what I call the Three G’s.
- Grace: Cut people slack instead of cutting them off. Be humble and have compassion. Forgiveness is powerful. Contact people and clear the air of even the smallest offenses.
- Gratitude: Be thankful for everything that happens whether good or bad. I make it a point to put in more complements than complaints.
- Generosity: Give, give, give!! Not just money but time, energy and kindness. Leave money in places where people will find it and be surprised. Tip big! Say yes to help others.
If you do these things consistently, eventually the principle of sowing and reaping will catch up to you and your life will be full of people doing the same to you. Another way to change the spiritual atmosphere around you is to laugh. We can start taking themselves too seriously. Live, laugh, and love!

The 3G plan seems to be popular with AT&T AND Doug Addison. I plan to invest in this far-reaching premiere strategy

Yes, I concur wholeheartedly! Spending many years in depression, even as a Christian….feeling like I was on the outside looking in, I’ve found that these things, really work, to change how we feel, how we look at life and the world around us! My theme song has been, I Can See Clearly Now (the rain is gone! This song, describes, the hope and expectation, as well as the present place of knowing God and making Him, known…. being yourself and letting God be HIMSELF…outside the box….free!~Life, liberty and the persuit of happiness!
