Went to San Francisco and had a great meeting with some old friends there. If anything I had some great Mexican food and saw Cheech and Chong reruns. I went from there to Tegucigalpa Honduras. I ate some great Mexican food and saw Cheech and Chong reruns on TV at my hotel. Oh yeah, I spoke at a confernce too. Anyway, no one told me that I was not supposed to go out for a walk there. I found out later that God must really be with me because guys like me end up for sale on the black market as a Rod Stewart look-a-like personal slave/servant (if you know what I’m saying). Great to be back home!! |

Linda and I took a week’s vacation in the Smokey Mountains. We stayed at the Cherokee Indian reservation and attended the annual Pow-Wow. I determined that Indian reservations are a bad place to be on a low-carb diet. My ancestors were Cherokee and many of them lived in the area I now live. We visited Pigeon Forge TN and had no idea that it is the family version of Las Vegas. There were more wedding chapels than Starbucks in Seattle. I knew I was still in the south when I saw a sign on the back of a car that said, “Just Married – Now Getter Done” |
