Jacked up and nowhere to go

We moved our office on Tuesday. Someone (me) got the bright idea of having me drive the 26’ moving truck up the mountain to our office in Moravian Falls. I tried to make a steep turn and got stuck with the back wheels off the ground. You know, it is a great way to meet the neighbors. Plenty of help, tractors, and just plain nice people came out of nowhere.  Fortunately someone knew how to jack it up with rocks and boards (no there is something we would never have thought of in LA). We got moved in finally…. One thing about southern people, they are strong and willing to help. Thank God for the South!

We just did our first FULLY LIVE Accelerating Into Your Life’s Purpose weekend in Moravian Falls. A small intimate group of 40 people came together for 2.5 days and great things happened. Everyone was so juiced for life and made plans to for radical changes. Including a 90 year old woman! “It is never too late to change”, she said. Okay, speaking of change and juice, we are moving in our new office this week in Wilkesboro. After researching what would be required for us to do the Juice Bar and expand our offices we decided that the Juice is on the back burner for now. It would be too much to do all at once. However we are looking at teaming up with an internet training company and expand our online training capabilities. I am convinced this is the wave of the future.

Not enough fiber

I noticed that I have not written any articles for a while. When I started working on my new Accelerating into Your Life’s Purpose program it took too much out of me. I spent over 1000 hours over the past year, on top of traveling 3 weeks a month. Well it is in production and delivery is in a few weeks! My blog has suffered and I have been running pretty ragged. I thought I would take it easy for a few weeks. So we rented a new building in downtown Wilkesboro NC (my idea of time off?). We are very excited to have a new home for InLight’s headquarters and we are planning to put in a Juice /Coffee Shop in the front with free high speed internet. The good news is that there is a real fiber-optic internet connection. Wow – beats DSL. Anyway, there is hope… free internet for every child.
