It seems that everywhere you go people are talking about dreams. Oftentimes, strange dreams are thought to be the result of having too much to eat before bed. I have helped interpret thousands of dreams and found that most people are surprised that many of their dreams actually have meaning.

When we talk about power encounters as a means of reaching people with God’s love, many different ideas may run through our heads. Most people don’t see themselves as being equipped to have power encounters and may leave this to the more highly gifted. I would like to enlighten you to several ways that most any spirit-filled Christian can engage in a positive power encounter.

Is dream interpretation a New Age practice? Is it possible for Christians to tap into these stories of the night and receive deeper insight into their waking lives? Many people believe that dream interpretation belongs to the realm of the psychics and psychoanalysts. The Bible, however, reveals to us that dreams are one of the ways that God speaks to us (Job 33:15 & Number 12:6). The key to understanding a dream God’s way is that we must use a biblical basis for symbolism and the Holy Spirit as our source of revelation.

Have you ever soared like a bird in your dreams? Flying dreams are very common and can tell us a lot about ourselves and the condition of our spiritual life. A dream in which you can fly indicates that you are a person who is very creative and have the ability to advance in spiritual understanding and experiences. Flying dreams, though symbolic, encourage us to rise above real life situations. We can gain new confidence and even reduce stress as God allows us to conquer our weaknesses.

A great spiritual awakening seems to be happening in people everywhere. Particularly in the US, I have noticed that many people are being drawn to the occult and New Age as opposed to Christianity. It would seem that most of the growth happening is among spiritual groups other than Christian churches. An example is Wicca which has grown more than 1500% over the past 10 years. This makes it one of the fastest growing religions in the world today. There is a big spirituality revival happening today but unfortunately much of it is happening outside of Christian churches but it is not a true revival from God.

New Focus: We arrived in Los Angeles nearly three years ago with a vision of launching a coffeehouse-based outreach center. After two years of developing our team, we received a grant to help us get our coffeehouse going. To our surprise, after months of diligently looking for a building, we have found nothing but closed doors. After a lot prayer and getting advice, we believe that God is directing us to not focus on a building but instead, develop deeper relationships with people who need His love.
