Who spilled the beans?

I am on a totally writing jag. 3 weeks ago I got a download of revelation that is tying together a bunch of stuff I have been writing and speaking on for a while. It is like puzzle pieces that are beginning to come together.

I wrote my last book over 2 years ago and since that time I write on a regular basis, mostly articles and I always have a couple of manuscripts that I am working on - but nothing has really come together. It is really hard to travel, speak at conferences, and come home to work in the office all week – then try to get creative. So when the urge comes, I have to go for it. I wrote my last book in Starbucks – from start to finish.

So how does a city guy find a good place to write in a rural area? I found a new coffeehouse called The Spilled Bean located in a neighboring town. The owners just moved to the area from Vale, CO. It has the feel of a big city and is next to the High Schools so it gets mobbed with young people every afternoon. I just put on my headphones and write, and write.  Lots of great energy. You’ll often find me there writing with my iPod on jamming to some good tunes.

I am writing a new CD/DVD/workbook program on how to discovery your destiny and bring radical change in your life. I have been living this for the past 5 years. It is all coming together!

Lightening but no water

I had an awesome time in Tulsa, OK last weekend, besides the fact that the airline lost my luggage again. I found that the secret to not feeling jetlagged is to drink lots of water on the flight, and sit on an isle seat if you know what I mean. Dehydration is the reason you feel sluggish when flying. With the new restriction, you can’t take on water and they server only one little cup…I came home with a pounding headache and feeling pretty miserable. It’s Wednesday and I am still moving a little slow. Oh yeah, God showed up at one of my meetings on Saturday night. There was a literal bolt of lightening that went from one side of the stage to the other. Because God’s presence was thick, most people had their heads down and missed it. Glad it was behind me :O)

God was right again

Still on west coast time. I am up in the middle of the night watching crazy preachers on satellite TV. Is it me or do Christians really look stupid on TV? I don’t know, maybe it was late. Hey, just found out that with the heightened terrorist alert, had I traveled this weekend (remember God told me not to travel?) I would right now be stuck at an airport dumping out my hair care products. That would have been tragic – bringing back wounds from 2 weeks ago.
