Doug & Linda Addison - Founders

Doug Addison had a dramatic encounter with Jesus in 1985 just after having a reading done at the Berkley Institute for Psychics. Since that time, Doug’s passion is to reach people who don’t know God’s love. Doug has been a pastor and church planter and is the author of the book, Prophecy, Dreams, and Evangelism.

Doug and his wife, Linda, are founders of InLight Connection located in Moravian Falls, North Carolina. Doug is a stand-up comedian who teaches courses on finding your destiny, hearing God, dreams and visions, and understanding the supernatural. Doug also trains and leads Dream Team and Prophetic/Power Evangelism outreaches throughout the United States and around the world.

Linda Addison is the founder of Financial Renewal. She provides financial counseling and coaching for those who need to get a handle on their finances and life.

Our History…
Doug and Linda married in 1995. They both felt called to help bridge the gap between people who can not identify with traditional church and those who need God. So they started a church in a coffeehouse that was converted from an old Harley Davidson shop in a mid-west college town. They worshipped to groovy music with an alternative edge, created an environment in which people who have never been to church could come and hang out and experience God. The result was very interesting. Many people in the new age movement and various spiritual outcasts came into a relationship with Jesus.

In 2000 Doug was diagnosed with a genetic terminal disease called Huntington’s (HD) which had taken the lives of 5 family members just a year before. Due to early symptoms of HD Doug left his job as a pastor and began to seek healing from God. Healing began after getting prayer at The Elijah House and the Spokane Healing Rooms. Then the grand finale happened June 26, 2001 at a Todd Bentley conference. Doug was healed of all symptoms of HD and has been feeling great since.

A short time later Doug and Linda started a new ministry called “You’ve Got Mail” (later they changed the name to InLight Connection). They believed that most people would have a relationship with God if they could only connect with Him in some way. Doug & Linda began searching for new ways to share God’s love with people who are seeking a spiritual awakening but lacking direction to do so.

Their search led them to Streams Institute for Spiritual Development founded by John Paul Jackson. John Paul had studied dreams and visions from a biblical perspective for over twenty years. Upon completing the courses, Doug and Linda joined Streams Ministries International heading up dream and prophetic outreach and training. Since then, they spent three years in Los Angeles and now reside in Moravian Falls, NC where they train people in power and prophetic outreach nationally and internationally.
