Prophetic Word: The grip that pornography has on people will soon be In 1991, I had a spiritual experience in which God gave me a message about some future events involving marriages. At that time I was also given personal insight into some things that would happen in my family. Later on, I understood that when the events in my family had occurred, it would be a sign that what God had told me in the message on marriages would begin to happen. I wrote down what God had given me and placed it in a file folder. I knew that some day I would present it on a larger scale. Last year God instructed me to pull out the message and begin to get it ready to share. By April of 2004 all the events concerning my family had taken place, and God began to give me greater insight about the message that was called “The End Time Marriages.” The visitation foretelling family events Early in the morning of July 6, 1991, while camping at Big Sur, California, I went for a walk by myself to pray. I came upon a stream of water that I had seen in a vision just the week before. Suddenly, there was such a strong presence of God that I fell to my knees. Although I did not see anything, I heard the voice of what I knew to be an angel speaking directly to my spirit (difficult to describe). I began to speak the angel’s words out loud as they were spoken to me. The angel said, “Your mom is dead, and you are to tell Ray (my step-dad) to stay in the church and he will marry a godly woman.?At the time this happened, Ray was not a Christian and my mom had been ill, but she was now recovering. I was so startled by the experience that I ran to a payphone to call my mom to see if she was okay-she was. I did not understand why the angel had told me that she was dead. A few years later Ray gave his life to Jesus, and my mom became terminally ill; she died eight years later. I shared the word from God with Ray; he stayed in his church and in April of 2004 he married a godly woman. God told me that the events foretold about my family were now fulfilled, and that this was a sign that the events of the message I had received in 1991 would now begin. For the longest time I did not understand why the angel had spoken to me in the present tense about events that would occur years later. The only conclusion I was able to come to was that God operates outside of time. Too often we receive prophetic words and do not understand the timing of God. The message on end time marriages I had gone camping in 1991 because I felt that God wanted to speak to me. I knew it had to do with something in the Bible so I brought along a ton of books and study resources. As I prayed I felt God directing me to 1 Corinthians 7 where the Apostle Paul talks about marriage and about some future events: 29 What I mean, brothers, is that the time is short. From now on those who have wives should live as if they had none; 30 those who mourn, as if they did not; those who are happy, as if they were not; those who buy something, as if it were not theirs to keep; 31 those who use the things of the world, as if not engrossed in them. For this world in its present form is passing away. (1 Corinthians 7:29-31 NIV) God revealed to me that a time is coming when the attitudes of Christians will begin to change, and a new strategy will be released from heaven to establish God’s end time ministry activity. He will begin to bring couples together to be married, and their marriages will be centered upon a higher ministry purpose. The Apostle Paul said that it is better to remain unmarried and serve the Lord, but in the last days God will bring couples together in marriage for His purposes. These marriages will allow His people to freely serve Him with greater impact than if they were single, yet they will be happily and firmly married. They will not get bound up with the cares of this world or focus on their own households; instead, there will be incredible spiritual synergy which will come from being in agreement and together, serving God with higher purposes. The focus for families will no longer be on earthly possessions but on Heavenly destinies. Many women and men have been single for a number of years because God spared them from being in marriages with someone who did not share the same calling and destiny. The events that will begin to happen will look quite strange to those who do not have eyes to see and ears to hear (spiritual discernment). Existing marriages will be strengthened. Some spouses will die and strategic remarriage will occur. Some couples will separate and even divorce—though this is not God’s will, and He will redeem and restore them. In some cases it will appear as if their ministries are finished, but God will bring great surprises as He brings justice and repays people for the years of suffering they have experienced from being outside of His greater purposes. Those who focus on God will not miss their destiny.
