Prophetic insight into the NFL Playoff scores

In my 2017 Prophetic Forecast book I show you the prophetic signs that appeared in the 2013 Super Bowl football game. (You can also read the original blog post on that game from February 13, 2013 here: Super Bowl: Prophetic Sign Seen by the World.)

Signs in the Super Bowl 2013

On Sunday, February 3, 2013, my Daily Prophetic Word was, “A prophetic sign from God will be seen around the world.”

I was watching the game with friends and suddenly my cell phone started receiving text after text from people who had read my Daily Prophetic Word and they were watching the football game. They all reported to me that indeed a prophetic sign was happening, but they did not know what it meant.

During the third quarter of the Super Bowl game between the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers, half of the lights went out for 34 minutes in the New Orleans Superdome. God spoke to me that this was a prophetic sign out of Ezekiel 34.

Here are just a few of the prophetic signs:

  • When the lights when out, the score of the game was 28—6; and 28 plus 6 equals 34.
  • The lights were out for 34-minutes total.
  • The power outage happened in the third quarter (3 of 4 or 3/4).
  • The winning team’s final score was 34.
  • Ezekiel 34 ends with verse 31.
  • The exact Super Bowl ending score was 34–31.

Ezekiel 34 is a prophecy about the weak sheep that were wounded and driven away by uncaring shepherds and mean sheep.

On June 9, 2016 I had an encounter and was caught up in the Spirit. I was shown parts of Ezekiel 34 that are now God’s agenda for those who have been wounded and need God’s love. They are those who have been driven away from churches. This does not mean that all churches and Christians are guilty of this.

2017 is the start of a new movement from God in which He is drawing in those who have been wounded and rejected by Christianity. These are the outcasts or the ones the late prophet Bob Jones referred to as part of the Billion Soul Revival.

This group includes women who are now being appointed by the Lord and are stepping up into leadership roles, people associated with various liberal political parties that are not accepted by many Christians, those with tattoos and piercings, the ones who are into zombies and vampires, New Age people, LGBT and minorities, to name a few.

God is raising up forerunners to go after the wounded sheep and God is releasing a new spirit of reconciliation for this new revival that is coming.

Another sign in the Divisional Play Off scores of 2017

On January 14–15, 2017 the NFL Divisional Play Offs took place and 3 out of the 4 (another 34) scores had the number 34 in them. One of the scores was the exact number of verses in Ezekiel 34:31.

Houston Texans 16
New England Patriots 34

Green Bay Packers 34
Dallas Cowboys 31

Pittsburgh Steelers 18
Kansas City Chiefs 16 (18+16=34)

Seattle Seahawks 20
Atlanta Falcons 36

This is yet another sign that God is getting us ready for a movement of the outcasts and those who were driven away from churches by bad experiences.

You can read more about the Ezekiel 34 Mantles prophetic word in my 2017 Prophetic Forecast on page 57. Watch for something big to come this year as God continues to confirm this new movement with prophetic signs.

Get ready for things to start happening much more quickly!

Blessings,

I would also like to note that the College Football Championship that took place in 2013, between Florida State University and Auburn University, also ended with the score 34-31, FSU.

It’s been years since I’ve really watched football, and I didn’t turn on the Super Bowl LI last night until the last couple of minutes left in the fourth quarter. As soon as the Patriots scored 28, tying the game, I immediately realized that a field goal could put one team’s score at 31, and if the other team also scored a touchdown the score would be 34, with another 34-31 game. Then when they announced this would be the first time ever that a Super Bowl game has gone into overtime, I knew God was in it. The fact that the PATRIOTS won with a score of 34, with 31 points of that score uncontested, and it’s the fifth win for Bill Belichek and Tom Brady, I am seeing this, and I’ll be curious to see if anyone else is sensing this as well: The Patriots represent something with America, the fifth win or the number 5 would represent grace? And of course that 34-31 connection had me cheering….. The funny thing is, just the night before they aired “Facing the Giants” on TBN, and I immediately noticed that the colors that the coaching staff for the Atlanta Falcons was wearing was very similar to what the coaching staff for the “Giants” in the movie was wearing, and I immediately found myself thinking the Falcons were not going to win, and that was also when I made the connection of the Patriots to America. Many prophecies have been coming forth about America, so I’m really wondering if anyone else also sees this connection. I’m also really looking forward to seeing the insights Doug and everyone else has regarding the Super Bowl.

Oh my goodness…Look at what just happened at the superbowl..SCORE: Patriots 34 – Falcons 28. This is what Ezekiel 34:28 says in message version. 28-29 “‘No longer will they be exploited by outsiders and ravaged by fierce beasts. They’ll live safe and sound, fearless and free. I’ll give them rich gardens, lavish in vegetables—no more living half-starved, no longer taunted by outsiders.

30-31 “‘They’ll know, beyond doubting, that I, God, am their God, that I’m with them and that they, the people Israel, are my people. Decree of God, the Master:

    You are my dear flock,
the flock of my pasture, my human flock,
    And I am your God.
    Decree of God, the Master.’”

Praise God for all He is doing..this game score was a miracle and God is showing up everywhere to His people!! Yeaaaa Jesus! We love you! xo

It struck me when I read his post this week the coincidences of this word & our lives & passions. Having grown up in Baltimore, that Super Bowl was a passionate experience for me. On that Sunday, we’d just left a denomination after 23 years to follow a fresh calling of ministering to the broken of Alabama. When Doug got insight in June about the outcasts God loves mirrored in Ez. 34, my wife was asked by the Spirit in August if she’d care for God’s refugees. The list of outcasts we can relate to because we find ourselves in that list. We claim our places as forerunners in such ministry for God has called us to bless the broken in the days to come. Thanks Doug for sharing.

Dear Doug, I felt the Lord impress me to read your blog this morning. In 2014 I was sitting in church and I heard the Lord telling me to watch the super bowl game later that day. I have also been noticing numbers ALOT lately. A couple years ago my odometer read 120120 I glanced at it, then I felt strongly impressed to look at it again because it was significant…later that morning I opened my bible and my eyes fell on “Moses was 120 yrs old…”. As I was watching the inauguration God reminded me of the date. Then I noticed the exact time that President Trump took his oath of office if you look it was at 1:20 exactly. I also had a dream about Treasures hidden in plain sight how they would be revealed and I asked what that meant and he said that’s people people are my treasures. Unlikely vesles. I keep seeing triple numbers. Not sure what that means. God bless! Thanks for your work in the kingdom!

Thank you Eve, for your writing down your dream about Treasures hidden in plain sight how they would be revealed. Last year early in the morning at 4:55, words by Holy Spirit came out in a poem and i was wondering about the meaning of those ‘hidden treasures’. Here is the poem and yes, i sense the Lord has a bleeding heart for many hurt and lost people ! Oh, and what a wonderful Plan He has !
Hold out your hands to receive
All My gifts and blessings in believe
Do not rely on your own
Take from the well of living water I have shown

      My daughter, do not despair
The world and your problems, all is not fair
But let Me work it out through you
You will prevail when you do

Now, take My hand and don’t let go
I’ll show you My path to follow
Come away with Me, leave this earth’s orbit behind
I have hidden treasures for you to find

Your destiny is waiting to be fulfilled

Praise the Lord! I was rejoicing over the release of this Word from the Lord. This year began with the Lord speaking of doing such a great work in our hearts and for months He has been speaking of the Harvest. As I read this Word yesterday, even pondering the games which I had saw. I rejoiced in God greatly! Thanks so much Doug for your obedience to the Lord.

Doug – my wife and I have carried this for many years after going through and witnessing such experiences ourselves. Finding and rescuing those hurt by church is an aspect of our calling. It’s often said that the church shoots its own wounded: the 34 minutes of darkness is like a mourning; the lights coming back on like the joy of a new day, or resurrection. This all goes hand-in-hand with fundamental shifts in the way church is being done. Thank you from the UK!

So needed to hear this reminder of God’s love for the wounded. My husband and I are waiting for God to rescue and re-establish us in a church body again where we can both love others and be loved.

I can’t believe it! :O Today, God “interrupted” my studying and I felt a strong urge to grab the Bible and to read it. No matter which part I tried reading, I still could feel this urge until I accidentaly opened Ezekiel 34. I didn’t know why, but I immediately started crying since it was touching me in a way I couldn’t understand. And now, I almost got paralysed when I read this post. I had never heared that story before! And all these things mentioned here are exaclty in line with things God has been showing me for a couple of weeks in my dreams. I’m just completely undone right now, wow! God is absolutely up to something!

This is good news to me because I’ve been discouraged as I was called in July to a biker bar to reach this very type of people. I’ve developed some great relationships (even with the owners) & interpreted some tattoos & made positive impact on a couple lives, BUT, haven’t yet seen any salvations or miracles yet. Been ready to give up. Thanks for this word.

Thank you for your heart that listens to Papa God and releases the visions of what’s happening in the spiritual as it relates to the natural. I am a BIG football fan – Dallas Cowboys, since 1974. This year they turned the NFL upside down with two “rookie” players – Dak Prescott (quarterback) and EZEKIEL Elliott, the rookie Running Back! Woohoo! Your Word concerning Ezekiel 34:31 is amazing!

    Doug:

Wonderful emphasis on the recovery of the wounded. Too often people employ Christian doctrine in lieu of loving people with the love of Christ to draw them to the One who can heal their wounds and set them free. I want more of this myself, this anointing to heal the broken- hearted. May we all hear and seek more of His love to allow that anointing to flow.
