Hidden Clues God Gives You for Your Destiny

This is a season of understanding your destiny and life purpose! But where do you even begin?

I’ve often said that discovering your destiny is like working on a connect-the-dots drawing. When you look at the dots individually, you’ll probably have trouble understanding the big picture. But when you connect the dots and step back—suddenly everything makes sense!

Plus, God embeds hidden clues about your destiny into your daily life. Here are a few to look out for.

What are you good at?

All of us—yes, you—have been given a measure of talent. As a prophetic life coach, I’ve heard a lot of people say things like:

“I’m not good at anything.” Or, “I have no talent.”

But really, it isn’t that you don’t have any gifts or talent. You may just not think that what God has given you is important. Think about it. Are you wonderful with children? Trust me, not everybody is! Or are you great at organization, taking big ideas and breaking them down into small steps?  You need to know how valuable that is! And, how valuable YOU are!

Many gifts or talents aren’t the kind where you stand on a stage, but they’re important and needed for what God wants to do in the Earth!

[Tweet “Many gifts or talents aren’t the kind where you stand on a stage, but they’re important and needed for what God wants to do in the Earth!”]

What are you drawn to?

Maybe there’s something you’ve always been drawn to, but you don’t necessarily have the talent to do it yet. God has told us over and over again that starting small will produce larger-than-life results!

He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:20 NIV

Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. 2 Corinthians 9:6 NIV

Let your interest in this particular talent or gift be your seed. Begin taking small steps every day to grow this seed and watch how it starts to grow. It may surprise you!

[Tweet “God has told us over and over again that starting small will produce larger-than-life results!”]

What makes you light up?

How much time do you spend each day doing things that make you feel joy? Many people are simply going through the motions of life and not really living intentionally.

Decide to do one thing each day that simply makes you happy. This could be going for a long walk, reading a book, writing, drawing, etc.

There doesn’t have to be a purpose to why you’re doing it. Just do it for the joy of being alive!

[Tweet “Decide to do one thing each day that simply makes you happy.”]

Who do you admire?

Who are you naturally drawn to? When you think of these people you say, “I’d like to be more like them.”

Notice the characteristics they demonstrate. Are they bold? Are they brave? Are they trustworthy, kind or virtuous?

You’re drawn to these people for a reason. Once you figure out why that is, it can give you a clue to the type of person God has called you to be!

Connect them all together. What do you see?

Take these four clues to your destiny and connect them together! What picture do you see? Let me know in the comments below.

Get ready to finally see the full picture of your destiny!

These four questions confirm the road I’m on is the correct road: #1 I’m good at creating my own dressing style. I get compliments wherever I go; #2 I am drawn to creativity in style; #3 creating unusual outfits and now sewing some of my own creative clothes light me up; #4 I admire those like Iris Apfel who dress in their own unique style and don’t care what others think or say about it!
God told me to start a style blog over two years ago. It’s been slow goin’ but I know I’m on the right track. I continue to get confirmation from those I meet who tell me how they love my style—everywhere I go!!
On my blog, I offer tutorials and encouragement to other women who are tired of looking like every other woman on the planet, tired of wearing boring clothes. Life is too short to wear boring clothes!!!
I can hardly wait to see what God does with all of this. I tell my husband, “I’m gonna have my own clothing line someday! Even my own clothing company!!!” P.S. I’m 66 years young. If Iris Apfel can be a style icon at 90-something, so can I!!! ….and make money at it!
Hey—I’ll need money to bless people and God’s kingdom, right?!! I want to be a blessing.

Speaking, teaching the word and prayer, caring for others, starting new things, travel, missions work, creativity, spontaneity, music. I feel we are being led to plant a church to minister and help others to learn to walk in Christ and avoid pitfalls. I am hoping it includes my grown family.

After connecting the four, my mind is running wild with all the possibilities, haha. Praying through all this now.

Recently I feel like The Lord is showing me that mental health is one(of many) of the greater things Jesus was talking about. Having just begun my own mental health journey and experiencing first hand how healing past trauma has brought me a deeper intimacy with The Lord, It would be a dream come true to help heal internally wounded saints so they might experience the same.

Good day Dough, I am good at counseling, encouraging people. I am drawn to Young People and therefore my dream is to start a training centre where I can help young people that lost their way in life to find their life purpose. I am in the market place for the last 29 years, and so unhappy – the workplace drains me of all my energy. I have been thinking about resigning and following my dream.

Good day. My life passion were always to listen to people and give advice when needed, that’s why I studied Pastoral Counselling and finalised it. But I still feel there is so much more to be taught. I always felt God had my destiny already planned out into Counselling, but somehow I sometimes feel stuck and not really moving forward. I have this desire to know more about God, and would love to travel to the places where I would find more knowledge. I really appreciate the Prophetic Word everyday in my inbox, it is very inspirational. Blessings

I’m good at seeing problems, finding solutions, implimenting solutions to create prosperity. I’m drawn to business and ministry. I have a prophetic eye and Nack for quickly seeing where people are at in their spiritual walk, utilizing the proper tools situationally depending on the context level they are on, and implimenting the Word with Prophetic Apostolic abilities to suit the needs of their particular walk. What makes me light up is making the world a better place one person at a time one choice at a time. I light up when I light others up. (I’m not an arsenist by the way but a Supernatural being with a good sense of humor 😉 lol. I admire Ryan LeStrange, Jennifer LeClaire, Nate Johnston and Doug Addison. I feel am Apostle with Seer Prophet Giftings with great skill and ability to tear down, pluck up, plow, plant, water, build up and reap. I’m also a healer, miracle worker, Glory Dweller business entrepreneur and Kingdom Wealth Financial Distributor.

I’m good at organization, hospitality and administration. I’m also good at languages and connecting with animals. I’m good at counseling people and getting people to collaborate.

I am drawn to animals (dogs, cats and especially horses). I am drawn to owning my own B& B on a horse farm. It’s a dream I’ve had for a long time. A B & B ministry as sort of respite care for those fighting the battle and waging war at the forefront. A place to regroup and refresh. It’s name is Shiloh B&B. It’s open to paying guests as well. But ministry partners come for free. I am drawn to the idea of changing the world.

What makes me light up are horses and working with them as well as spending time with animals like dogs and cats. Another thing that lights me up is music, dancing and creative arts.

I admire two women friends. They are strong and take chances. They plan and work to accomplish their goals. They dream but also do what they need to do to make those dreams come true. They’re happy, resolved and strong in their relationship with the Lord.

Cant yet see my destiny in my answers.
