A River of Refreshment is Flowing

When I asked the Lord what to release this week, He said to me, “Comfort My people right now. They need comforted.” A river of refreshment is flowing from Heaven for you and God wants you to overflow with hope, peace and joy!

“I will turn their mourning into gladness; I will give them comfort instead of sorrow.”
Jeremiah 31:13 NIV

This past week has been difficult all over the world, and especially in the United States. Every time I ask the Lord for a “now” word, He just keeps saying, “I’m going to do something in your day.” We have to keep our focus on the reality that the Lord is our Head and Leader, and He’s going to change things around for us.

Freedom for the prisoners of hope

“Come back to the place of safety, all you prisoners who still have hope! I promise this very day that I will repay two blessings for each of your troubles.” Zachariah 9:12 NLT

People write to me all the time saying, “I was so hopeless, I was ready to kill myself. Then I tuned into Spirit Connection and some of your training, and I broke through that.” The Lord reminded me just recently that I overcame this same hopelessness and thoughts of suicide back in 1985.

I was away from the Lord and going through a really hard time back then. I just didn’t know what to do anymore and was thinking of committing suicide. Suddenly, I felt the presence of the Lord and heard someone say, “If you do not kill yourself, it’s going to be better than you can dream possible.” And I said, “Well, Lord, I’ve got a big imagination!”

Over time, I learned to keep asking the Lord to give me strength for my situation and help me stand in the storm. It took me a few years, but I broke through the hopelessness with the Lord’s help. Now my life is way better than I ever dreamed possible, just like He said!

I encourage you right now to receive what I’m telling you and get this hope into your spirit.

Refreshment from the God of hope

May the God of hope fill you with joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13 NIV

The first thing you need to do is trust in the God of hope! People will eventually disappoint us, and we even disappoint ourselves. But when you put your trust—your confidence—in the God of hope, He will fill your heart with peace and joy. You have His Word on it!

[Tweet “He will fill your heart with peace and joy. You have His Word on it!”]

Watch for God to release the anointing of refreshment to flow like a spiritual river of hope, joy, peace and the presence of the Lord. And while you’re at it, why not add a heaping helping of healing, peace and security on top of it!

“Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing … I will heal My people and let them enjoy abundant peace and security.” Jeremiah 33:6 NIV

No matter what it feels like right now, be encouraged—God is releasing a river of refreshment to flow to you!

Doug, your words of life straight from the throne were so what I needed today. I had completely lost my footing, taken over by fear, stress to the point of being so overwhelmed I couldnt get or stay in his presence. Im so grateful for you and your ministry

January 11, 2021, all during the day

I Will Roar And Nobody Will Hold Me Back

    Retrace what I’ve already said,
I’ve been showing you things all along
Build the faith, not in date, or time, or event,
in My Name is the strength to make you strong

You may experience a lack of My presence,
I want to tell you this is not the case,
but an expectation of pulling back the waves
Once I release My Breath, mighty events will bring Me reverence

When I’ll open the windows, and close certain doors,
winds will sweep over all My creation furiously
Witness the awakening of a parade of majesty,
the Lion of Judah, and the echoes of His roars

It will come as rhythms of thunder,
lay waste secret thoughts of one another
Don’t be offended, don’t push your own right,
put on the full armour, stand then, cling tight

Now, plug into My thinking, align to My way,
a childs’ prayer is needed every day
Guard your heart well, rest assured in Who I AM
On My time, the lion lies down with the lamb

Thank you Doug for God’s words of comfort to me! I have been feeling so weak in my Spirit and my body! Everything has been turned upside down. I’m standing firm in my faith! I’m believing what God is saying about President Donald J. Trump for 4 more years! I’m believing in The Great Awakening! I haven’t been around believers lately other than on Tv or my smartphone. I’ve been listening to the prophet Sheets!

I know, Doug is right. But sometime it seems to me that it is not easy to trust in the God of hope. It gets easier for me, if I experience that He makes me to trust in Him and that I don´t need to do it on my own and that I may tell Him all my questions, doubts and fears
