Get a Fresh Dose of Prophecy Dreams and Visions

Prophecy, dreams and visions are a very strategic part of what God is doing right now and will play a big role in preparing us for revival.

“‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.’” Acts 2:17–18 NIV

About prophecy

The Lord is releasing a new ability to hear His voice. This is the spirit of prophecy, but it does not mean you have to be prophetic. We can all prophesy and operate in the gifts.

Follow the way of love and eagerly desire gifts of the Spirit, especially prophecy.
1 Corinthians 14:1 NIV

The key to getting this new level is to operate in the spirit of love. Hearing God goes hand-in-hand with loving others. This means loving people that you might not agree with, loving the outcast and those with different political views and lifestyles.

About dreams

For God may speak in one way, or in another, yet man does not perceive it. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls upon men, while slumbering on their beds, then He opens the ears of men, and seals their instruction. Job 33:14–16 NKJV

Understanding dreams is mentioned throughout the Bible. I did an extensive study on biblical dreams and visions. There are over 250 references to dreams in the Bible!

Joseph and Daniel were dream interpreters in the Old Testament, and in the New Testament, it seems, most people understood their dreams. In fact, Matthew 2 talks about a dream that saved the life of baby Jesus!

In Acts 2:17–18, the day of Pentecost, talks about the Lord releasing a fresh new anointing of dreams, so we can expect dreams to become more prevalent.

Even though, everyone is dreaming, the truth is, very few people understand what their dreams mean. What we lack are Spirit-filled believers who are trained to discern the voice of God.

Not all dreams are from God, but God can use any dream to help you once you understand them.

About visions

“In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence.” Daniel 7:13 NIV

You can have a vision while sleeping, or a dream-like metaphoric picture while awake. The words “dream” and “vision” are used similarly throughout the Bible.

Dreams tend to be symbolic and need interpretation. Visions usually are literal—what you see is what you get. They do not need interpretation, but you do need to know how to respond.

Knowing the source

A biblical understanding of how God speaks to us is that He speaks through the Holy Spirit, from the outside in—from God to you. So, it is important to use Holy Spirit led interpretation practices.

But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil. Hebrews 5:14 NIV

It takes practice! It is like any other gift from God; it takes time to grow and mature and must be developed. We need to develop “eyes that see” and “ears that hear.” In other words, we must “learn to discern.”

God wants to speak to you, and you can trust the process. It is okay to practice and make mistakes in a safe place.

We will never be 100% accurate because there are times we hear in part or prophesy in part. We don’t always know the full message. But God uses our mistakes to train us.

What’s Next?

The Lord spoke to me through a prophetic word, that beginning at Pentecost there is going to be an unusual shift in your ability to hear the Lord.

Because of the pandemic, superstorms and release of violnce and confusion, the Lord is releasing a backlog of revelation and answers to prayers.

Dreams, visions and angelic interactions are going to increase starting in just a few days!
