Official Accounts & Reporting Fake Social Media Accounts

Protecting your security and safety on social media is important to us. Unfortunately, there are imposters on the internet who create fake accounts and fraudulent social media pages, posing as Doug Addison and trying to scam people.

REMINDER: We will NEVER private message you on any social media platform asking for donations in any form. (These are some of the methods the scammers use.) We especially would never ask you to send money in the form of gift cards, moneygrams or sending money to an individual outside of the U.S.

We take this matter very seriously and our team monitors, investigates and reports fake accounts daily. It can sometimes take up to 3 weeks in some cases for these social media platforms to remove them.

Here’s How You Can Help Us and KNOW Which Accounts Are Real:

These imposters are tricky and they can block us from seeing their fake page, since they know we work for Doug Addison.

That is why we rely on you to notify us anytime you spot a fake account posing as Doug or anytime you are contacted by a fraudulent account. We appreciate your efforts to help us identify these imposter pages so we can report them in a timely manner!

Official Doug Addison Accounts:

These are the only real public pages Doug Addison has on social media. Anything else is a FAKE!

Facebook: Look for the verified blue check mark badge. This means the account has been verified by Facebook as the official account. If you see a Facebook page posing as Doug Addison WITHOUT this check mark, you know it is a fake.
