Why Do We Need To Understand The Supernatural?

Simply put … God is supernatural. So, to understand Him and how He interacts with us, we need to understand the supernatural and how it works.

You cannot read the Bible without coming across something that is out of the ordinary or supernatural. Think about it.

My First Encounter With An Angel

In 1991, I had a shocking encounter that I didn’t fully understand for many years!

An angel stood before me and said these words …

“Your mom is dead but tell Ray (my stepdad) to stay in the church because he will remarry a godly woman.”

But …

I discounted that supernatural experience for years, because it didn’t make sense to me …

My mom was alive and doing well.

And Ray wasn’t even a Christian … So, how could he “stay in church?”

Fast Forward A Few Years …

My mom got sick again.
In the process, Ray gave his life to Jesus.

Mom died in 1999.

It was then that I realized my encounter with the angel back in 1991 was not for then, but for a time yet to come …

And that time was NOW!

I knew then that I needed to tell Ray about it …

8 years after the encounter, I gave Ray the prophetic word I received from the angel …

“Stay in church, you will meet and marry a godly woman.”

Then, in 2004, guess what happened?

My stepdad, Ray, met and married a godly woman!

Just Like The Angel Said!!!

God Is Outside Of Time

Quite often “timing words” or dates don’t always make sense.

We may hear something from God or through an angelic encounter and it may sound like it is for “now” when, really, it is for a time in the future.

This is because … God is outside of time.

Just like my first angelic encounter,
the supernatural doesn’t always make sense right away.

However, without the encounter, I wouldn’t have been able to give Ray the encouraging word he needed at the time of my mom’s death.

As you get to experience these supernatural encounters for yourself, you’ll be blown away by the goodness of God.

God was preparing me 8 years in advance with a word to bring comfort to my stepdad. I mean, how good is that?
