In this special excerpt, Doug Addison is back from sabbatical and ministering to the Partners. He releases what the Lord is showing him in this season.

Partner question: I hear beautiful music when I lay my head down at night, but when I lift my head, I don’t hear it.

Doug’s answer: It’s angelic. You’re hearing Heaven and the angelic host. He’s giving you ears to hear.

Jesus said that we need eyes to see, ears to hear, and a heart that understands. So, Father, we pray right now that You would give us the ability to hear, see and understand… especially through your Word in Jesus’ name.

 

Partner request: I could use continued prayer to overcome discouragement.

Doug’s answer: We come into agreement for that, Lord. And I ask for all these requests right now, especially over the things that are causing discouragement. And where the enemy keeps coming in like a flood, the Lord will raise up a new standard.

We pray, Lord, that You would cause us to be able to have the eyes to see above. This is a very powerful prayer right now.

Just lay hands on the areas of yourself right now… on your mind or heart, the areas you might have sicknesses or attacks.

We just lay hands, Lord, and pray that You would release the anointing of healing from the top of our heads to the bottoms of our feet.

We pray, Father, for the healing anointing. We pray for the restoration.

We pray for the ability to hear Your voice on a greater level. We pray for dreams and visions to increase, and for strongholds to be broken. Reveal and heal in Jesus’ name.

 

Partner request: I need prayer to deal with past trauma.

Doug’s answer: We just pray right now, Lord, over PTSD or traumatic memories or traumatic things that have happened. And I’m also praying over myself, the ministry and the past. We ask, Lord, that You would heal trauma… childhood wounds or current wounds… any traumatic thing where the enemy tried to get a hook in us.

Give us an anointing over ourselves and over our own generational lines according to your Word. We pray for an anointing to be able to encourage people.

I feel strongly that there’s something being released from the Lord over people right now… People are receiving the anointing to be able to encourage others, even though they may not understand. We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.

 

Partner question: Can you pray for us all?

Doug’s answer: Father, I thank You for Your goodness. I thank You that Your plans and purposes are here. I thank You for this word and for Psalm 33:11 and Psalm 33:9. I’m standing on these verses every day, almost every hour.

Psalm 33:9 says that He will command things into place. He will command things to be still, and He will command things into place.

Father, I pray right now that we would stand on Your Word… That we would have this ability to command things and to worship in the midst of the storm. We pray that each day would get better.

We declare the Word of the Lord over us, as You’re strengthening us right now during this time of famine or feast… We pray that there would be an increase of Your presence and Your power.

We pray that You would move through the generations… You’re releasing Your plans and purposes and hope deferred is being healed. Thank You, Lord. The anointing right now is being released over all this.

Father, we pray for the Partners of InLight Connection and those who are supporting us on the internet. I pray for finances, healing, and encouragement to increase right now.

We’ve been sustained in this time of trouble, but I pray that You would now release things, and a shift will happen. In Jesus’ name.
