In this special excerpt, Doug Addison is ministering to the Partners. He interprets some dreams and brings prophetic insight to several questions from a Q&A.

Below are some notes from the latest Partners-only Monthly Mentoring Session. Partners have access to every session that has been recorded—for years. And you can access them all in full by becoming a Partner today! Find out more at DougAddison.com/Give.

Dream #1

Partner: I dreamt my car was full of water and big fish. I had to figure out how to open the door and collect the fish without losing any.

Doug: Well, first of all, your car represents your ministry or an aspect of your life. It could be your business, ministry or something like that.

Fish represent evangelism or people, and the water represents the movement of the Holy Spirit.

The Lord’s moving in you right now to bring people into the Kingdom. It doesn’t mean you have to be an evangelist to do this, but He’s doing something. That’s a powerful dream.

Thank you for sharing it because I’ve been praying about this. Everywhere I go, I’m seeing people doing altar calls and baptisms in churches… and things are happening in businesses too. People are so hungry for the Lord right now!

Dream #2

Partner: I dreamt I found a dead man. I prayed over him, and he became a child. Then he was resurrected and became a man again.

Doug: That dream is about dying to something in the past or “dying to the old man.” The Lord is doing some inner healing with you right now. He’s bringing you to a place to die to something from your childhood.

“Dying to something” means there will be some changes that will happen in your heart. We do this all the time. You do it inside your heart first. This a very, very good dream!

Also, because of the healing aspect, it fits into the word for this month—Restoration, Repayment and Healing.

Q&A

Partner: The Lord has me in a time of healing but, I’m having trouble allowing myself time to heal.

Doug: Find something very simple to do each day. Try to simplify things. I think right now would be a good time to simplify and just focus on a couple of verses. Just don’t do a lot of… expectation. You’re doing the right thing by seeking the Lord every day.

Prayer: Thank you, Lord. We pray that You would shift this suddenly over all of us right now—the inner healing we need, removal of shame and complete repayment. In Jesus’ name.

Praying for you!

Partner: I have been wronged by family members regarding my father’s estate. How do I know if I should pursue legal action?

Doug: I don’t have a prophetic word on it right now, but He will confirm it for you.

Agree in prayer with some other people.

Prayer: So, Lord, we pray for all the legal cases, that we would know whether we should move forward or not.

Sometimes it’s the Lord’s will to pursue—like David did when he sought the Lord through prophets and also sought the Lord directly.

Sometimes the answer was to pull back… to not do something. Other times it was to go forward.

You’ll have to get this. I don’t have anything specific, but I know that sometimes the legal system is a good thing, because you need it.

Other times, the place to start is the legal system of the Lord—the place of prayer. Begin to ask the Lord if it’s something you should get legal advice about. Also ask that He would make it clear and bring provision for you.

Right now, we’re going through the same thing in InLight Connection where there is a big injustice—the cyberattack that happened to us in February.

We’re not seeking an attorney, but we did ask the Lord to repay us right now. And that’s the word right now—repayment. But that doesn’t mean you can’t ask. We did talk to some people, searched the internet and got prayer for our situation.

So, the answer to that is that I don’t know, but the Lord will tell you what to do.

In fact, in Joshua 1:9, He said, “Don’t be afraid. Be strong and courageous. He’ll be with you wherever you go.”

Blessings,
