In this special excerpt, Doug Addison is ministering to the Partners. He interprets some dreams and brings prophetic insight to several questions from a Q&A.

Dream #1
Partner: In a dream I was with my son in a car, floating on a big body of water. I saw many white flying fish. Then we landed on an island and a lady said, “Aren’t the angels having fun?”
Doug: Well, the Lord’s moving with angels right now, and the water represents the moving of the Holy Spirit in your life. So, there’s something going on in you and your family.
It’s saying that the Lord is moving right now. He’s bringing angels, He’s bringing a blessing and He’s bringing something new to you. That’s a very good dream.
Question #1
Partner: My husband received a prophecy that he has a “John Mark” ministry. What does this mean?
Doug: You can do an internet search, but John Mark was a support person as he traveled with Paul. So, I would ask the Lord to make it a little more clear, but you have a “helps” ministry.
John Mark and Barnabas traveled with Paul, and they both did ministry as well as helping others… You will still minister to people wherever you go. It’s showing you that’s what you’re called to do.
Things are shifting right now over many of us—the Lord is calling us to step up and help. It could be financial help or praying, interceding, becoming a partner with someone or actually going out and traveling with someone.
Dream #2
Partner: In a dream I was standing in front of my garage when I heard a man say I should clean the leaves off my roof. I released the Lord, and a wind cleaned the roof. But then another massive wind swept me off my feet.
Doug: The roof represents your covering—the authority that’s over you. The Lord is cleaning the leaves off the covering. That covering could be talking about your church or your pastors.
We have an apostolic covering that’s over us. Everyone needs one. And the Lord is cleaning things off right now, very similar to this word that’s going on for this month.
And these leaves had died… things that died. That means they were previously alive. So, cleaning the leaves off your roof talks about a season change because the leaves come during a change of season.
There is a change in the season for you and many people right now.
Question #2
Partner: I’m having trouble discerning direction for my life. How can I get a clear word on a career to pursue?
Doug: Ask the Lord… and again, you’ll want to agree with other people in prayer. Find an intercession group. I always have at least one. One person can put 1,000 to flight. Two can put 10,000 to flight. Three can do great things—a cord of 3 strands is not easily broken (Deuteronomy 32; Ecclesiastes 4).
So, I would put together a small group of intercessors, either through text or Facebook or whatever. Or… depending on where you live, you could meet live. Just find a couple of people and ask them to agree with you in prayer.
This is for all of us, by the way. If you don’t know what you are called to, begin to ask those around you. Now realize, if you ask your family members and some people that might not like you, you’ll have to weed out some of the answers. You don’t necessarily have to believe and do everything that people are saying.
You see, the Lord is trying to get us to a place of maturity where we know His will and His heart for any situation.
I would start to decree a couple of Bible verses. One is Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Begin to decree this. The other one is Philippians 1:6.
Father, we pray right now that You would bring the clarity that each of us need. Each person has a different need. And we pray, Lord, that You would encourage us in how to move forward—how to get the help we need. In Jesus’ name.
