Gratitude
I’m just in awe of how the Lord has moved over the years: InLight Connection, the Spirit Connection podcast, the weekly Blog, our Partners and the Monthly Mentoring Session. We are so grateful!
Prayer
Lord, we just ask that You would continue to move with Your presence, releasing Your peace and Your power. We declare: “Peace, be still” again, to the storms.
Question #1
Two years ago, I was laid off from my career job, then I found another job but was laid off again. How do we navigate these setbacks?
Doug’s Response
You know, it’s been a tough time. First of all, I’m so sorry for everybody who’s walking through this. I would say to stay in the Word and continue to be encouraged. Keep going back out there, looking for work, if you’ve been laid off. Pray with others, especially if you have a pastor or someone that you can come into agreement with, and just keep receiving encouragement.
Also, remember Philippians 4:19—And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. That’s what I was hearing for this situation and to stay encouraged right now.
Prayer Request
I would appreciate prayer that my home loan modification will be approved.
Prayer
Father, we just bring it to You, all of us right now, whoever has a need for this home loan modification to be approved, that any red tape would be cut. Assign the angels, especially these new warring angels, in Jesus’ name.
Question #2
Previously, you mentioned something about how a belly button represents your connection to your family. Well, 15 years ago my belly button was surgically removed. Does this represent severance from my family line? I experienced family abuse as a child, so just wondering if this has anything to do with not having the belly button?
Doug’s Response
The Lord is greater than all things, including this attack against you. It doesn’t mean that you’re under some kind of curse or anything at all. It would just be a sign that there’s a greater level of generational calling and blessing that’s available to you… through Jesus Christ. We’re so sorry that you lost your belly button.
Prayer
Father, we declare right now that You would bring about Your blessing and turnaround. Thanks so much.
Question #3
I heard you say that a super order is now being released from Heaven. Can you expound on the meaning of this?
Doug’s Response
Yes, it’s taking place right now, and it’s really just the power of the Lord and His warring angels. The Lord Himself is coming in with a super order to help us to get out of our situation—to provide a breakthrough, to get healing, repayment, restoration of all things, including financial and personal. So, the order of the Lord is simply that He’s releasing provision right now, as well as the angels to battle.
Prayer Request
I recently had chemotherapy and the masses on my lymph nodes and face are shrinking, but I could use prayer for strength to combat side effects such as poor circulation and weakened blood cells.
Doug’s Response
Oh, so sorry that you’re having to go through this with chemo, so many of us are suffering.
Prayer
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray right now for your strength, and for all of us who are suffering. We pray for the strengthening of our body, soul and spirit. We pray for healing and the turnaround that’s needed. Again, special order from Heaven over us, in Jesus’ name.
Dream
I dreamt of two buckets dropped into a well. The second bucket had a much longer rope. What does this mean?
Dream Interpretation
Ok, well, two would be double. The well would be the Holy Spirit, the deep things and deep things that the Holy Spirit represents, water. And, of course, we see Jesus in John chapter 4—He stood by Jacob’s well. The Lord is bringing to you or calling something in right now, a double anointing and a double portion of the Holy Spirit. Good dream!
