Did You See These Prophetic Signs in the Super Bowl?
Doug Addison
February 11, 2016

Some people are asking me about a prophecy, attributed to the late Bob Jones, about how the Carolina Panthers winning the Super Bowl would signal the start of a revival.

I have not personally heard this particular prophecy from Bob, but I know he did prophesy several times about sports teams. He prophesied that the Kansas City Royals would win the World Series, and that happened last year.

Some people are discouraged because the Carolina Panthers lost to the Broncos, but I want to give you some encouraging news, as God did give us several powerful prophetic signs in the Super Bowl last weekend.

In my Daily Prophetic Word I shared online for Super Bowl Sunday, God spoke to me the following:

Daily Prophetic Word for Sunday February 7, 2016
“It is significant that today is the NFL Super Bowl number 50 in San Francisco. Watch for prophetic signs.”

There were many prophetic signs in the Super Bowl this year
• It was the 50th Super Bowl, which is a time of Jubilee or repayment, coming this year.

• The stadium where the teams played is called Levi Stadium. God is going to restore the modern version of His priesthood.

• The game was played in Santa Clara, California. Santa Clara is located in the heart of Silicon Valley, where many high-tech companies reside. There is going to be a move in high-tech industries to begin to produce finances for the Kingdom of God.

The biggest prophetic sign though was at the end of the halftime show with the message “Believe in Love,” and the sign of a cross. This is the prophetic word for us right now. God is calling us to love and overcome the negative spirit of judgment and hatred that is in the world today and even in the lives of some Christians.

[Tweet “God is calling us to love and overcome the negative spirit of judgment and hatred.”]

believe in love

The final score between the Broncos and Panthers was 24-10.

Matthew 24:10 KJV “And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.”

Jesus said that the greatest commandment of all is to love, Matthew 22:36–40.

[Tweet “Jesus said that the greatest commandment of all is to love. Matthew 22:36–40.”]

I will be releasing several prophetic words this month, in which I talk about the two moves of God coming. The first move is to renew the Church, and we are already seeing a start of this in San Diego. The second move will be a revival to the spiritual outcasts.

The outcasts are coming
I have been prophesying this for a number of years now, but all the signs are pointing to it coming very soon. This raw, new revival that is coming is what Bob Jones prophesied throughout his ministry. A move of God is coming on a generation that has been previously rejected by the Church.

This new move of God will require high degrees of grace and love to embrace it. It is love that is going to position us to be part of this new movement. I am not exactly sure when it will start, but it is close.

You can read more about this in my 2016 Prophetic Word on my blog and in my latest book 2016 Prophetic Forecast, in which I share insights, tools and strategies for getting into God’s timing for this year.

Get ready!

Blessings,
doug-sig

My sign on super bowl Sunday was my daughter and her husband gave birth to a baby boy whose name is Isaac. He is one of the first boys that have been born in our families in over 50 years. It is my first grandchild and when we were looking him over for the first time we saw that he had the biggest feet that were not in proportion to the rest of his size. This definitely was not passed down by either side. We believe that this child has a prophetic annointing and his feet were the sign that Gods will be established on the earth. He will be a gentle giant.

After all the neg. about a certain singer it made me very SAD about the Half time entertainment. Look at the field “BELIEVE IN LOVE” in the stands and on the field I see a GREAT BIG CROSS. God has us covered and maybe this certain singer will know of Gods love for her and bring her to her knees. AMEN.

Hi I was looking at the panthers quarterback last name
Newton. The 3 law of motion and gravity this spoke to me of how God is about to propell the next move of God.

The Lord is showing us that the revival has started.
We’ve had many miracles in our prayer groups in NC.

    Doug,
I was watching the game on my iPad and I was watching Lakewood Church Sunday evening young adult service on Apple TV via my iPhone. At the exact instant that the above scene was on at the game the worship team at Lakewood was sing about God’s Love. I thought this is definitely what Doug meant by Prophetic signs at the Super Bowl.

The oldest quarterback led the winning team. That team didn’t win because of the youth or extraordinary talents of the QB. The QB did his best, but they won because the supporting players (defense) rallied to prevent the other team from scoring. I think this speaks to the way we are supposed to live and minister. It’s not by our personal strength or age. We just step out to play and God’s supporting players (angels) defend against the opposition.

Before the Super Bowl, I saw a comment somewhere about it where the commenter quoted Habakkuk 1:8–“Their horses are swifter than leopards…” I think it was mostly in jest. 🙂 But after the horses actually were swifter than the, well, panthers, and the game ended as it did, I went back and started reading through Habakkuk. With all the judgment talk in there, I was thinking, “Uh oh. Uh oh,” in case God was pointing to that particular book with the predicted outcome of a horses-and-big-cats match-up in the football game lining up with that verse. But then I came to Habakkuk 2:14 (which seemed significant since Valentine’s Day is the focal point of the month, really)–and thought, “Ohhhhh.” “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.”–Hab. 2:14 🙂

    Hi Doug,
I thought you said there would be prophetic messages in the Super Bowl commercials. This is what I saw. The one with the piano player and the choir traveling higher and higher. And, the wonderful pro-life commercial from Doritos. I would love to read your thoughts on these, and any more that you see. Thanks so much.

Yes,God shared a lot on S.B. Sunday. The “Sheep” commercial. Also, “7”years ago the movie,Blind Side, was released. An outcast, homeless teen, that society throws away,a Christian family took him in.Now he plays for the NFL and plays for the “Panthers” team.!!! God is so GOOD.
