A ‘Slingshot’ Impartation of Encouragement for 2018 [Episode 38]

Can you believe how much has happened in 2017? It had its share of challenges and suffering, so I want to impart to you a blast of encouragement for your life and for the good things God has in store in 2018!

Although 2017 was a wild ride on Earth, it was extra rich with revelation poured out from Heaven. I released a lot of prophetic words and I want to pull them together to recap what happened this year, and impart hope to you for what is ahead––to ‘slingshot’ you into 2018 and beyond.

In this Spirit Connection episode I share some very special encounters I had with the Lord this year. I had 50 days of heavenly encounters and I recorded many of these in my newest annual book, Prophetic Forecast (Volume 3). It’s coming out in January; and in it, I share with you newly-released insight into what the Lord has planned for 2018 and the next few years to come.

As I had these deep encounters, the heavy weight of the Lord came on me and would linger for hours and sometimes days. I tell you, God is releasing something totally new from Heaventhis is a time to ask God for a new vision of life!

In this last episode of 2017, you’ll discover:

  • The reasons why you can be hopeful right now
  • How trials can actually bring advancement and promotion
  • Why more power is coming on our words and thoughts
  • Several new gates that are opening in the Spirit—and what it means
  • A sure-fire way to release Heaven’s blessings and freedom
  • The eye-opening parallel of 2 revivals happening in the spirit realm
  • How 2018 will be similar to the words from Psalm 118

Please reply, I’m interested! Don’t wanted onus this. I’ve asked God to connect me, as a few months back the Lord started showing me volumes of books and I could actually smell books that were in leather bindings and they were very large books almost like a library of books. Not sure what it means. Thanks

This was so encouraging. I have been praying for the ‘balance’ in the spiritual, and asking for very clear direction, as was referred to as being part of God’s plan in this Prophecy! Absolutely wonderful.. We are looking forward to reading about your heavenly encounters as well Doug. Blessings..as we move on into 2018…

So good. Thank you for sharing. When Doug mentioned the sowing the wind and reaping the whirlwind due to complaining and arguing, I was reminded (of all things) a My Little Pony episode called Hearth Warming’s Eve. The ponies argued so much, icy horses called windigos came and froze the land and eventually the ponies. Love and friendship broke the spell! Blessings to you!

Thank you so much for this! It was just the “pick me up” I needed this morning. I see many things happening that you talked about, Doug, but I think the most fun of them is God revealing some connections between things I didn’t know were connected! It has given me a boost of joy and anticipation of the adventure ahead. Blessing all of you at InLight Connection with the joy of the Lord, the peace of the Lord, and the wisdom and insight of the Lord through this New Year!

I am determined that God will have His way in my life for this coming revival. This word has hit the bullseye for me. Bless you for your faithfulness Doug. Shalom. Marianne

I am currently writing a children’s book and have been asking God to bring some clarity on points I would like to make in the book. After listening to this podcast, I believe I just received what I was asking for. I believe it is crucial for the upcoming generation to know the importance of words and how they affect the world around us, both physical and spiritual. Another concept in the book is obedience to God and other figures of authority. Thank you for sharing this podcast!

    Sacred Salt

Upon my hearts’ doorpost prints a kiss,
while softened eye drops bring relief to tears
Whose salt as mine is this,
melting the ocean of my fears ?

Small and silent wonder of that endless hour,
passed this liquid of sacred power,
as rain fell down from cloudful years,
meets thought Your presence, while she hears

    It’s I, the breath-drawing smile of our dwelling-place,
where fair truth has nailed this inside grace
and calls companion to dephts’ deeper longing,
out of a veil-sleep of believing in belonging

Let words create, past remembrance of sorrow,
My flaming song of hopes’ tomorrow
That lips may speak of realms yet unspoken
and taste of the promise of chains I have broken

An awakened desire will lit the spark,
warm in deepest part a sweet surrender
Time will leave a whisper through shadows of dark,
My love never fails, but endures forever

I just want to say, thank you for all that you do, but particularly at this time I wanted to comment, I think it is powerful that a member of the team takes the time to read the “thoughts” from readers and responds with words of encouragement and blessing!
Yes! That expresses the heart of God! Thank you.
