New Breakthrough Strategies for 2020 Revealed

Do you feel like there’s something more for you in life, but you’re not sure what it is or how to figure it out?

Or maybe you feel stuck and don’t know how to move forward.

Don’t worry, God has not forgotten all about you.

These are all symptoms that you need a breakthrough in your life!

Here are a few breakthrough strategies to help you start 2020 on the right track.

Develop a Breakthrough Lifestyle

It’s one thing to make goals and write them down on paper, it’s a different thing entirely to actually follow through!

Breakthrough isn’t something that only happens once—it’s a lifestyle!

Put your outdoor work in order and get your fields ready; after that, build your house. Proverbs 24:27 NIV

Do small things towards your big dreams on a daily basis. Working on the small things is what helps you handle the big things when they come!

Change the Spiritual Atmosphere Around You

The spiritual atmosphere you’re living in on a daily basis can have a major effect on your spiritual, emotional and physical health.

For instance, if you’re operating under a negative spiritual atmosphere, you might notice you feel sick more often or have trouble controlling your thoughts.

“Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.”  3 John 1:2 NIV

“But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’ declares the Lord …”  Jeremiah 30:17 NIV

Once you shift into a more positive spiritual atmosphere, it’s easier to hear God’s voice and change your behavior!

But what are some strategies that will help you do this?

Focus on the simple strategies in life like loving people, being thankful for the good in your life and being grateful for what you have now even if you’re reaching for more or better!

When we learn how to handle our current circumstance with more grace, our entire atmosphere shifts and the good starts to flow more freely!

Develop a Positive Kingdom Perspective

What you believe about God matters. So many people have been taught that it is God who is causing the negative things to happen in the world or in their lives. The opposite is actually true. God is your biggest fan and he wants you to succeed!

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; his love endures forever. 1 Chronicles 16:34 NIV

I believe that God is a good God who loves and cares for us. Once I made this shift in my beliefs, everything else in my life shifted for the better too.

Expect for things to turn around

Our expectations often determine our outcomes. For instance, if you believe that God is working all things together for your good, you’ll be more likely to recognize the good opportunities when they come.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 NIV

But if you’re sitting around expecting the bad, you won’t notice the good opportunities!

Change your perspective for what you expect. There is power in aligning your thoughts with God’s thoughts. When you sow good thoughts and good words, you reap good results!

Continual Improvement Always (CIA)

Begin where you are today and get started with small steps toward your goal. As you learn more and grow, you can make changes or adjustments along the way. Remember, this is an ongoing practice—no matter how good we get at something, there is always room for improvement.
