God is Working in Strange Ways

We are entering into a time of transition, and the Lord is moving in strange and unusual ways that will result in a blessing and aligning you for 2022. This week, I want to talk more about the Lord speaking and moving and what to watch for in this season.

Watch for God to move in unusual ways

The Lord will rise up … to do his work, his strange work, and perform his task, his alien task. Isaiah 28:21 NIV

The Lord is going to move in strange and unusual ways that will result in helping to position you for greater work and blessing in your life.

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord.  “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8-9 NIV

God’s ways and understanding are higher than ours. This is a time to put your trust in the Lord and know that He has you covered. He is working through things—yes, even strange and unusual ways.

For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told. Habakkuk 1:5 NIV

The Lord is going to do unusual work to bring about financial blessings. Watch for things to start to happen that might look like a setback, but the Lord is going to use it to advance and bless you.

Keep trusting 

I want to encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart and don’t lean on your own understanding.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding … Proverbs 3:5 NIV

Sometimes we try to figure it out and need to trust that the Lord has it worked out. God is working behind the scenes to advance you into the new season.

What you are seeing right now is actually going to align you with the future. 

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 NIV 

Keep moving forward

The Lord is working things out.  He spoke to me about December—to encourage people! 

Do not give up—we are about to transition into an amazing new season. 

But one thing I do: forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead…
Philippians 3:13 NIV

Draw upon the Lord no matter what it looks like—the word of the Lord is powerful and His love is never-ending. 

I can do all this through him who gives me strength. Philippians 4:13 NIV

Bible verses to pray and decree

Here are three powerful Bible verses that you can use to open up the Spirit of Truth over your life.

But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. John 16:13 NIV

These are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. 1 Corinthians 2:10 NIV

He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with him. Daniel 2:22 NIV
