How to Jump-Start Your Faith

Many people are suffering in a past season of pain that is limiting them.

The Lord showed me that millions of people are stuck in the wilderness, and many may not realize they can get out.

The Lord gave me a key or strategy to get people out of this and break free from discouragement, depression, and even suicide!

Spirit of Understanding is here

Jesus answered him, “What I am doing you do not understand now, but afterward you will understand.” John 13:7 ESV

Ask the Lord to reveal what you need. Invite the Spirit of Wisdom and Understanding.

The Lord is on the move and the solution might be easier than you think.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 NIV

The Lord is pouring out His power on all people this year. It will be good to allow this process to happen organically.

Bringing about the Lord’s timing

A man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps. Proverbs 16:9 NKJV

The Lord is going to birth the understanding of His perfect timing. Birthing indicates that it may take time for this to happen. Similar to a baby being born, there is a nine-month period for this to take place.

Don’t be discouraged

I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. Ephesians 3:16–17 NIV

You have survived a major attack against the entire world, and the Lord has you covered. This is the year for you to step out of the old season and into new power and glory!

• The Lord is with you!

Help from God 

Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?
Hebrews 1:14 NIV

If you say there is an angel in the room, people doubt. But if you tell them there is a demon, they are more likely to believe you.

Most people have more demonic encounters than angelic encounters because there is an over-focus on demons and deliverance. In some seasons we need deliverance. I am in one now—but my focus, mind and spirit default to the Lord.

As you switch your focus to angels and the good things of God, your perspective will change.

Angelic encounters in the New Testament

Philip interacted with both the Holy Spirit and an angel during the same encounter (Acts 8:26, 29).

An angel broke Peter out of jail, but at first, he thought he was having a vision (Acts 12).

Cornelius “distinctly saw an angel” during an encounter in Acts 10:3.

Angelic encounters can come in visions, be unseen or happen right in front of us.

The Bible is packed full of angelic encounters! You need to test the spirits to understand them.  

The key to all this is to release expectations. You don’t have to see an angel. What counts is hearing God’s voice, growing your character, loving and helping others.

How to increase your ability to hear God

• Get Bible verses that back up what you need to know or do
• Pray in agreement with others
• Consider taking communion

These are my three favorite verses inviting the Spirit of Truth: 

But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. John 16:13 NIV

These are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. 1 Corinthians 2:10 NIV

He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with him. Daniel 2:22 NIV

Prayer to open things spiritually

I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength. Eph 1:17–19 NIV
