Prophetic Word: An Urgent Call to Pray

Raising up people to pray

We are moving into the new year. The Lord is raising up people everywhere to pray, even if you’re not an intercessor.

I will stand at my watch and station myself on the ramparts; I will look to see what he will say to me, and what answer I am to give… Habakkuk 2:1 NIV

Also …

Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the people of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me. Ezekiel 3:17 NIV

How to pray: Ask the Lord to put an end to violence.

Bring to an end the violence of the wicked and make the righteous secure—you, the righteous God who probes minds and hearts.
Psalm 7:9 NIV

A major change and shift is here

The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray. Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. 1 Peter 4:7–8 NIV

This is not the end of the world or the second coming just yet, like we might know it. 

Verse 7 talks about the end of things we are leaving—a season of being limited and over-attacked. Peter calls us to be sober-minded and pray.

Verse 8 continues … 

Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.

We need to be kind and compassionate and love one another. 

As we do this, it will break off the spirits of hatred, violence and division, to name a few. 

As you love other people, you’ll come into alignment with the greatest commandment of Jesus—love God with all your heart, all your soul and all your mind, and love your neighbor as yourself (Matthew 22).

Ask the Lord to give you your plan for the new year

Let the prophetic plan of the Holy One of Israel quickly come to pass so that we can see what it is! Isaiah 5:19 TPT

Lord, we ask for the prophetic plan for the new year, that we can pass through this time of transition. That we can step into blessings and financial abundance to do all that you call us to do when you call us to do it. 

The storehouses need to be replenished

“Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this,” says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.” Malachi 3:10 NKJV

Whether you give tithes or offerings, giving money into good places right now will indeed open the windows of Heaven. 

If you don’t give or tithe on a regular basis, this would be a good time to start.

The Lord is opening the storehouses, He’s calling us to rebuild the financial storehouses on Earth, as it is in Heaven.

Clarity and joy

For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. 1 Corinthians 13:9–10 NIV

The Lord is releasing a new level of the prophetic anointing. You don’t have to be a prophet. He is raising up people to hear His voice and understand things more completely.

I will turn their mourning into gladness; I will give them comfort and joy instead of sorrow. Jeremiah 31:13 NIV

The Lord is going to turn your mourning into gladness, going to bring deeper comfort and break off depression, the spirit of despair and unhealed grief.

New angels being assigned

For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. Psalm 91:11 NIV

The Lord is assigning angels of all types—worker angels, revelation angels, writing angels, you name it. They are flowing and being assigned right now.

Bringing unity will change things

Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
Colossians 3:13–14 NIV

Love and unity coming together in agreement is so important right now.

New understanding into the Bible

And He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures. Luke 24:45 NKJV

The Lord is bringing you understanding into the Bible. He’s going to speak in many ways but confirm things very clearly.

It is going to be an amazing month of breakthrough and change, especially around Christmas. You’re going to see some miracles, breakthroughs and new understanding.
