How to Contend in Prayer

And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 NIV

Many people have been in a time of need. I know we have been. But the Lord will continue to bring greater blessings and provision until we get our full breakthrough.

This is a time when we need to press into the Lord in prayer and utilize the Bible for our breakthrough.

We need to continue to worship the Lord and stay in a place of joy, no matter how things look.

We are on the verge of a big breakthrough and change. This is why we need to not be discouraged or give up.

In order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 2:7 NIV

The Lord is going to pour out His immeasurable grace, love and kindness to us through Christ Jesus.

The Lord loves you and will never forsake you!

He is fighting for you!

But this is what the Lord says … I will contend with those who contend with you, and your children I will save. Isaiah 49:25 NIV

The Lord is releasing warring angels and battling for our breakthrough.

He is contending and calling us to contend in agreement in prayer with Him and other people. This is one of the key ingredients right now—to agree with other people in prayer and use the Bible.

Ask the Lord to turn bad things into blessings

You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. Genesis 50:20 NIV

I have been talking a lot about these verses and praying them. They are very powerful right now!

The Lord is going to save us, and we will indeed see a major turnaround!

He will love you and bless you and increase your numbers. He will bless the fruit of your womb, the crops of your land—your grain, new wine and olive oil. Deuteronomy 7:13 NIV

Ask the Lord for blessing and increase. He wants to bless us and increase our ability to bless others.

He is bringing about some major changes, not only in the spiritual realm, but also financially and in the areas of your life where you have needs.

The Lord will complete what He started

Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:6 NIV

This is one verse I have really been standing on lately. Prophet Bobby Conner and several others have spoken this over us.

We need to stand in confidence! Continue to contend in prayer and to move in love and good works.

The Lord is going to complete the things that He promised and do even more!

Ask the Lord for plans and blessing

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11 NIV

The Lord is pouring out His love and blessings!

Let’s agree together that He’ll give us the plans we need. Also, that we get financial blessings and move into a place of trust.
