Location: Virtual position, within the U.S. or Canada only.
Overview Position
Primary Responsibilities and Tasks Include:
-
Create from concept to final product the visual content needed for websites, sales pages, promotional materials, advertising assets, social media and products, including cover designs for books and more.

Create 3-D images of our store products for our shopping cart and ads.

Find stock photos that align with our brand and further develop them into promotional graphics.

Organize and maintain a database of our graphics and original design files in our designated file management system.

Communicate our ministry values and culture through all images.

Be able to provide art direction, specifically taking a key role in the design of the look and feel of our website images, layout and digital media.

Be well-organized and good with time management and communication.

Be able to work quickly and efficiently, sometimes on tight deadlines.

Must own a reliable computer (Mac preferred) with appropriate programs needed to perform the above responsibilities.

Must have high-speed Internet with a backup plan in the event your Internet goes down during a critical deadline.

Be proficient in the use of Adobe Creative Cloud design software such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.

Qualifications
-
You must own the above-mentioned programs (or be willing to purchase them upon contract initiation) and specific experience with the software and services listed to allow you to perform your responsibilities.

Understand branding and UI/UX design.

Be experienced in photo editing and touch up.

Take initiative and actively contribute to the creative life among our content and creative team.

Able to juggle multiple projects and prioritize them when there are overlapping deadlines.

Ability to communicate effectively and clearly, both verbally and in writing, maintaining good relations externally and internally.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Handle confidential and sensitive data and information with the highest integrity

Excellent organizational skills.

Appropriate industry experience.

A well-organized and self-directed individual who is a team player.

High school diploma or equivalent.

At least 3 to 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. A degree in the visual arts, graphic design, or related fields.

Additional Considerations
We require people who have had ministry school training and necessary inner healing along with the experience and background to hold up under the pressures of a busy active ministry.
Even though this is a contractor position, please note that we operate on a Pacific Time schedule. We are looking for a long-term relationship with someone who feels called to this by God and not someone who just needs a job.
