A New Season, New Dreams and An Angel of Bliss
Doug Addison
September 10, 2015

Have you noticed that you are dreaming more lately?

This is a time that many people’s ability to hear God through dreams is going to open up more. God spoke this to me a few months ago and I did not want it to go unnoticed.

New things coming
“During the night the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a vision. Then Daniel praised the God of heaven and said: Praise be to the name of God forever and ever; wisdom and power are his. He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with him.” Daniel 2:19–22 NIV

God is speaking through dreams and visions. The season is once again changing. Expect to see changes coming as God raises up new leaders for this next movement coming. God is revealing deep mysteries that have not been revealed. Expect to have hidden things revealed and to receive a strategy on how to respond.

[Tweet “Expect to see changes coming as God raises up new leaders for this next movement coming.”]

If your ability to hear God has seemed to flatten, then get ready to hear and do. God will speak to you more clearly. September is a time in which you will receive instructions to help you get established in what He is doing over the next few months.

Daily Prophetic Word continues!
“Prophetic dreams are going to increase over the next few days.” That was my Daily Prophetic Word for July 21, 2015 and after July 21, that is exactly what happened to me. A tipping point happened in my dream life and I started having prophetic dreams almost every night.

I want to share with you a major piece of revelation from a dream I had in July. The way my prophetic gift works is that I often have a dream or get a prophetic word and it is not only meant for me, but for many people.

Angel of Bliss
I had a dream that I was buying a new house and in the house was a spirit. People were afraid of the house but I went in to see it. Suddenly the spirit appeared and it was a brilliant white angel that was like transparent white rain. I walked over to the angel and stood in the midst of the white rain. It was an amazing Angel of Bliss. But the angel warned me that people might not understand this and that I must be careful. Even though the angel was from God, people were afraid and thought it was evil.

This dream indicates that God is moving in new ways that might be outside of our comfort zones, and some people might even think it is evil.

Watch for the release of new gifts and anointings that will bring the ecstasy of God.

[Tweet “Watch for the release of new gifts and anointings that will bring the ecstasy of God.”]

A number of years ago God’s ecstasy and bliss began coming in many of the meetings I was doing. It was an amazing drenching of God’s love. But I was judged quite harshly by some Christians. I eventually pulled back from ministering this way in my public meetings because it was too controversial at the time.

God is sending radical new movements to drench us with His love and joy. We will need boldness to move in the new things that God is bringing.

We do not interpret dreams. We strongly believe that a person’s dreams and the meaning of those dreams are between the person and God alone. In the past, God spoke to people sometimes in dreams. Examples are Joseph, son of Jacob (Genesis 37:5–10); Joseph, the husband of Mary (Matthew 2:12–22); Solomon (1 Kings 3:5–15); and several others (Daniel 2:1; 7:1; Matthew 27:19). There is also a prophecy of the prophet Joel (Joel 2:28), quoted by the apostle Peter in Acts 2:17, that mentions God using dreams. So God can speak through dreams, if He chooses to.

However, we must keep in mind that the Bible is complete, having revealed everything we need to know from now until eternity. This is not to say that God does not work miracles or even speak through dreams today, but anything God says, whether through a dream, vision, impression, or “still small voice,” will agree completely with what He has already revealed in His Word. Dreams cannot usurp the authority of Scripture.

If you have a dream and feel that perhaps God gave it to you, prayerfully examine the Word of God and make sure your dream is in agreement with Scripture. If it is, prayerfully consider what God would have you do in response to your dream (James 1:5). In Scripture, whenever anyone experienced a dream from God, God always made the meaning of the dream clear, whether directly to the person, through an angel, or through another messenger (Genesis 40:5–11; Daniel 2:45; 4:19). When God speaks to us, He makes sure His message is clearly understood.

Yes, agreeing with your prayers for more dreams & greater understanding in Jesus’ name! Here are Doug’s resources on learning how to understand dreams. http://dougaddison.com/training/dream-interpretation/. I paid over $1,500 for my dream interpretation courses back in the day. Doug has fine tuned the material based on his experiences and has reduced the prices so it is more reasonable for everyone. He is a great teacher and his methods work 🙂 Pam

I use to have dreams almost every night. But they stopped. I long to hear and feel the Lord near me and to speak things of Him. The vision that He has for me, through Him.

And then there is the whole subject you brought up very strongly last night in your lecture that we are not suppose to judge. Mat 7:1-6 is one of the main passages you seem to quote over and over again. That, sir… in context is NOT telling us not to judge, but rather it is telling us not to judge HYPOCRITICALLY.

    We are to judge righteously….

John 7:24 – “Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.”

I think this might help you. It is my intention to help you understand things in which I think you need help, I am not criticizing, nor do I think that I am better than you in any way. I just would like to speak to you about this whole idea you are putting forth that we should never judge.

    First, let’s read the text…

Mat 7:1 – “Judge not, that ye be not judged.”

Mat 7:2 – “For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.”

Mat 7:3 – “And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?”

Mat 7:4 – “Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?”

Mat 7:5 – “You hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.”

Mat 7:6 – “Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.”

When the Lord said “Judge not, lest you also be udged…” you should not just stop there and quote the Lord’s words out of context. He was NOT talking about never judging at all. Please read verse 5 again. Notice he says…

Mat 7:5 – “You hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and THEN YOU SHALL SEE CLEARLY TO CAST OUT THE MOTE OUT OF THY BROTHER’S EYE.”

The context of the verse clearly states that we should help or warn our brother of the mote in his eye, but first, we should make sure we are NOT DOING THE SAME THING. He uses the word hypocrite in verse 5. That is all the verses are saying.

If it were saying for us to never judge at all, then why…. why following along in the text… Why does it say in verse 6

Mat 7:6 – “Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.”

That sounds pretty judgmental, doesn’t it? ” Give not that which is holy to the DOGS…”

The fact of the matter is that every day, that even we as Spirit filled Christians make judgments every single day about who we should hang around with or not. We judge certain behaviors to be wrong based on God’s word. There is nothing wrong with judging, if it is done right. Consider this important 2 verses in I Cor..

1Cor. 2:14 – “But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”

1Cor. 2:15 -“But he that is spiritual JUDGES ALL THINGS, yet he himself is judged of no man.”

I am not saying, we judge who is saved or not. God separates the sheep from the goats in His time.,, not us. But when we see the sins of America and elsewhere, we, as God’s ambassadors have the obligation and responsibility to warn those walking away from the Lord of the dangers of their actions. 150,000 people die every day. The harvest is great, but the workers are few. We should be worried about souls the way the Apostles and early disciples all were. All but John died as martyrs for their faith. Did you know that? That is how important they viewed the task. And.. they actually walked with Lord during his time on earth as the God/man. They were chosen by Jesus, himself… so the direction of their lives should be important to us also. Do you agree?

Wow. Thank you for gathering bible verses on judging. It looks like you have a gift of teaching. I hope you are able to exercise that gift in your church or spiritual community. It is a great gift and always helpful to the Body of Christ. Doug’s #lovenotjudge message is from his desire to share the love of Jesus with others so they will grow in their relationship with Jesus. Matthew 7:5 is one of the verses that Doug shares with his team all the time. We as believers in Jesus need to constantly be looking at ourselves and making sure we are humble and listening to God about any wrong attitudes or opinions we have that might not line up with His will and then we can look at the body of Christ and see more clearly what is God and what is not God. I appreciate you taking the time to write in the blog. Pam

Alright… thanks for the loving response. I think probably I agree with you folks, but it (probably) just boils down to the semantics of the words that got in the way of me understanding his thoughts. By in large, I really did enjoy the evening. It was challenging to my spirit.

(Just so you know… I was the bass player for Br. Noel from PIHOP)

In closing my blogs to you all for now, I would really like to finally and humbly just encourage to you folks to always read Scripture in context. I am a 60 year old brother who has loved the Lord for quite a while now.

Exegesis is always better than Isogesis. (I guess I spelled that one wrong. lol) And again, also, I would like to gently remind you NEVER to deify love. God is the One we worship and follow. We should not overemphasize any of His attributes, no matter how great they are. We need to follow all of His words… not the just the ones that appeal to us. Finances are never important, because always provides for His sheep. After all, Christ is the Good Shepherd. He provides for the birds of the air. How much more important are we to Him who created us in His own image?

So, what I am really saying is that our behavior IS important to Him. Here is my line of Scriptural reasoning… God changes not, in His character and wonderful Holiness. He is Love, but He is also Holy.

Psalm 5:5 – “The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.” KJV

Psalm 7:11 – “God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.”

Heb 11:6 – “But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.”

Let us all diligently seek Him through His Holy written words, amen? Amen!

Mat 22:37 – “Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.”

Mat 22:39 – “And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.”

Mat. 22:40 -“On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”

There are two great commandments now in the New Testament age. They both seem to compel us towards repentance of all our sins, not just for us to love one another. Once again, I agree with you that love is very, very important in the life of Christians, but it is not the way to salvation. Faith in Christ is. This involves us denying self and following the Lord in faith as the center of every part of our life through the Holy Spirit. This is the Gospel. That is the great commission for us go out to all of the world, not just to the ones that want to hear it… and teach them all things Christ taught and to baptize them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. THIS is the Gospel.

We all have sinned and fell short of the Glory of the Lord. – Romans 3:23

John 14:15 – “If ye love me, keep my commandments.”

Notice it says COMMANDMENTS not commandment. You said last night that this verse was only referring to love. Not so, in my opinion. Do you agree?

Thanks for more bible verses on love 🙂 Doug’s message on #lovenotjudge is all about Matthew 22:36-40. Because we love God with all our hearts, mind & soul, we love our neighbors as ourselves and we share the love of Jesus freely, without judging. In Matthew 22:36 the disciples asked Jesus which is the greatest commandment in the law. Jesus replied with the verses you wrote – Matthew 22:37-40. If Jesus said it was the greatest commandment, we are not going to argue with him 🙂

From reading your comments, I think you love God with all you heart and want to hear him clearly for your life. We speak blessings over you and ask God to increase your ability to hear Him clearly through the scriptures and give you a greater clarity for teaching and sharing the word of God with others for His glory. Thanks for going to hear Doug talk in Culver City 🙂

Mat. 7:13 – “,,, for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Mat 7:14 – “Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leads unto life, and few there be that find it.”

It is unfortunate, but none the less true that MOST people are not going to Heaven. (The words above are the words of Jesus Christ… they are true.) So since most people will not find the way that leads to (eternal) life, it is our MAIN job not to focus on ourselves, but on other’s salvation.

Rom 10:14 – “…how shall they hear without a preacher?”

Eph 2:8 – “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:”
Eph 2:9 – “Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

Noone is saved by love. Love is important, but it is the fruit of the Spirit, not something we solely produce with our own efforts. In your lecture last night, you seemed to imply that. Let’s not deify our efforts as the way to Heaven. Faith in Jesus Christ is the only way, and then once a person is born again, his saving faith will produce good works through the indwelling Holy Spirit.

James 2:18 – “Yea, a man may say, you have faith, and I have works: show me thy faith without your works, and I will shew you my faith by my works.”

James 2:19 – “You believe that there is one God; you do well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

James 2:20 – “But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?”

Definitely having tons of dreams. Last night I dreamed I was in a meeting at s church that was about the economy crashing. I asked when and they said a month. The guy said to buy pancake mix. Last week I had a dream about Nick Jonas filing for bankruptcy. The week before I dreamt about a sky invasion and I ran throughout my house grabbing as many bibles as I could. There’s a definite theme here. Anyone else have dreams like this?

Thank you for this timely word, Doug. When my son took a nap on 9/9 I was so tired that I napped along with him…went into a crazy prophetic dream! WOW! Too much to post here, but I’ve been reading through your book, reading your archived blog posts on dreams and watching John Paul Jackson’s dream teachings to sort all of the massive symbolism in my dream (and the numerous other prophetic dreams I’ve had). God often speaks to me through dreams loaded with symbolism and riddles and crazy off the charts visions. Honestly, I used to hide out in my apartment because I see so much of the warfare going on. My pastor encouraged me and reassured me that I am not crazy. After some time of fasting and prayer and a bit of maturity, I now realize that I need to pray through stuff and intercede for people. Your teachings have helped me immensely!
Thank you for being obedient to God. You’re right about how God’s love never fails with the outcasts.

Ahh back in the day in Culver City with Doug. My point of view was as a believer who had shut off her gifts because they were too overwhelming to me. At his meetings the Holy Spirit would fall so heavily that people would go into heavenly trances. When they woke up they would describe the feeling so much love & bliss from the creator for them… I did not experience this because I was working on getting over my fear of feeling again… which I finally did 🙂 Pam

      • Hey Jamie, great question for Suz. There are different categories of gifts. The ones in the bible are the office gifts… There are so many more that God gives to his people to help them fulfill their unique destiny. For example, one of my gifts is alignment. How do I find out what my gift is? I have been finding it hard to plug into a church. Been told people are to busy to hang out and be friends with me.

          • Really good question. We all want to know that, right?! In a nutshell, you need to find out what you are passionate about, find out what you are skilled at, and then prayerfully and purposefully begin to grow those areas of your life. If doors open, then keep going forward. If doors close, then change directions.

Doug has a lot of resources for this. http://dougaddison.com/training/discover-your-destiny/

My best recommendation is to start with small steps, like take a free meyers briggs tests online (look for the real one) or the gallup strengths finder test for a small fee. Then begin to read about who you are and see what resonates with our spirit and go forward from there 🙂 Blessings on your journey! And blessings on finding good friends! Pam
