Do you have ideas rolling around in your mind, but don’t know what to do with them? Do you have creative talent that you haven’t fully used? Maybe you don’t even see yourself as creative yet––but God created us in His image and that makes us creative. Because God’s Spirit lives in you … you actually have access to His unlimited creativity!

In this Spirit Connection podcast episode, my special guest is Darren Wilson, a college professor turned filmmaker who asks risky questions and lets God answer them on film. After a striking encounter with an angel, Darren received a simple, yet firm instruction from God to start using his creativity in a new way.

Darren is the founder of WP Films, an author and film & television producer. In fact, some of you know me from my appearance in one of his early films, Father of Lights. His newest series, Questions with God, asks hard questions about God and faith.

Darren loves to communicate the heart of God to people through his art. As you listen, you’ll be so encouraged that it’s never too late to begin your creative journey with God!
In this episode, you’ll discover:

  • Why you don’t need to have an angelic encounter to hear God
  • Why you have ideas that you just can’t shake
  • 5 ways God speaks to Darren
  • Darren’s favorite creative advice for beginners
  • How intimacy is the key to creativity
  • Why pushing boundaries can release a fresh wave of the creative spirit
  • That you might have untapped creativity that God wants to use!

  1. Alex Atkinson says:

Wow!! What an awesome conversation with Darren Wilson. I’m totally blown away by how God is confirming certain things to me personally through this podcast even though it’s not about creativity but the basics are there- step out in boldness, be obedient and cultivate intimacy with God, never despise small/humble beginnings and when God wants you to do something, He will not let you fail because failure is never His plan for us. Thank you so much as it has lifted up my faith.
    God bless you!!!

  2. Diane Clarke says:

I have tried a number of times to sign up to receive the daily prophetic word, but as it hasn’t come through I believe it must have failed. Could you please sign me up from your end. I have included my email address. Thankyou Diane

  3. Stephanie says:

I fell asleep into my nap this morning listening to this. I saw Doug Addison performing a solo theatrical play for the children and their parents in the school. Doug was dressed like a lion. He was roaring, as lions do. The lion had antennas on its head, like a radar into Heaven and the supernatural. I get the impression Doug can reach people through his dramatic plays in the schools.

There was much, much more I received.

  4. Stephanie says:

I also saw me holding a single sewing needle. I kept staring and staring and staring at it. I don’t sew but have always wanted to. I’m not even sure I know how to thread my sewing machine!

  5. Linda Herrin says:

Don’t know what to fill in but, God told me to draw again he said draw what I see. I love to oil paint, I painted a peacock, cause he told me to be like the peacock watch what goes in and watch what comes out. Glory be to God.

  6. Janeth says:
