Tired of not having the money to do what God has called you to do?

This is something I had to deal with myself. My journey of dealing with money issues started when I was in Cape Town, South Africa in 2009. I had angelic visitations that lasted for a week, including an Angel of Financial Breakthrough. This started a series of visitations and major downloads from Heaven over the next few years.

When I first got this revelation, my wife and I had a considerable amount of both personal and ministry debt. This is when the Lord gave me the wisdom and revelation on how to open the heavens over our finances so we would never have to borrow again.

Get healed of money issues.

Today, we are debt free and no longer use lines of credit. You might say that we have become the lender to ourselves as we now save and use our own funds for the things we need. Plus, we have given a lot to ministries and causes around the world.

This is God’s will for all of us concerning money. But many people still think that money is the root of all evil, so they feel bad about getting too much of it! That’s actually not what the Bible tells us.

“For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.” 1 Timothy 6:10 NIV

It is the love of money that is the root of all kinds of evil, not money itself. Many people who seek only money have found out that it didn’t give them the peace, security or joy they were looking for.

But we know this, don’t we? We know that God is the one who gives us peace and fills us up with love. Since we understand this, we know to use money as a tool. If our hearts are in the right place, God can bring money into our lives so we can do what He’s called us to do!

Breakthrough the poverty mindset.

Now is the time to break through poverty mindsets and realize that with God all things are possible. This was especially difficult for me because I grew up with a limited understanding of God’s blessings.

When I made money in ministry, I’d try to give it all away to the point that I had nothing left for myself! I had to let go of the guilt that says we cannot serve God and have money. Eventually, I understood that even Jesus had money! In fact, He had one of His disciples, Judas, overseeing the finances of His ministry.

I finally broke off this poverty mindset that caused me to feel guilty about finances. When I did this, God was able to give me more!

God wants to increase you!

If you get your heart and motives in line with God’s will and purposes for you, then you will be able to experience financial freedom. Once you discover the healthy balance that God intended you to have regarding money, then the possibilities are endless!

“May the Lord, the God of your ancestors, increase you a thousand times and bless you as he has promised!” Deuteronomy 1:11 NIV

Speak this Bible verse over your life every time you start feeling money issues arise. God wants to increase you a thousand times and give you more than you can ask or imagine!
