3 Ways to Have Eyes to See

Now is the time to get on the Lord’s timetable. But how can you position yourself when there’s so much noise surrounding you?

You need to tap into the seer gift, which empowers you to see what’s going on from God’s perspective.

This is how Jesus calmed the storm, walked on the water, made the blind see, the deaf hear and the sick well.

He was able to and into the heavenly reality.

He is our example and father, for in God’s presence he believed that God can raise the dead and call into being things that don’t even exist yet. Romans 4:17 TPT

More than ever before, we are in a moment to call those things that don’t exist on Earth into existence. First, you need your spiritual eyes to be opened so you can see clearly!

Here are a few ways you can start seeing with a heavenly perspective.

Pay attention to your dreams.

God likes to talk to us when we sleep. As we’re sleeping, our conscious mind powers down so our subconscious can be filled with images and sounds of Heaven more easily!

So how can this help you see things from a heavenly perspective?

Let your dreams inspire you. Find ways to respond to your dreams, like doing something artistic. If you have a vivid dream that seems to mean something special—even if you don’t remember it—allow yourself to be inspired to write a poem, story, song, draw, dance or paint.

When you do this, you’ll see the dream has deeper meaning. This is one way of engaging with the heavenly realm.

Be sure to write your dream down. Get in the habit of keeping a dream journal because some dreams are for you to understand now and others are for confirmation later!

Your imagination may be revealing visions.

A big part of seeing what’s going on in Heaven is allowing your imagination to be free. I can’t tell you how many people I’ve met who feel guilty for engaging with their imagination. Some like to use this specific Bible verse as proof that the imagination is nothing good:

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:5 KJV

But other translations interpret this as “imaginations” with “arguments” or “proud obstacles.” So you see! This Bible verse isn’t condemning your personal imagination.

God gave you your imagination. It’s often a way God likes to send you visions of Heaven so you can see beyond what’s obvious.

If you’re worried about it, ask God to make your imagination pure and holy. Then, ask Him to speak to you in a vision as confirmation. This is a way the Lord speaks to us about what’s going on in the heavenly realm!

Signs and symbols all around you.

Do you ever notice certain numbers standing out to you? Or maybe a certain symbol keeps popping up everywhere you look?

Sometimes it’s more than a coincidence—it’s a God-incidence.

Once we understand God’s hidden symbolic language, an entirely new world opens up for us. We will not only see messages in our dreams at night, we will also be able to hear God speaking to us in an unlimited number of ways—through television, in the movies, street signs, names and even numbers.

Be on the lookout for repeating patterns and symbols in your life. It may be God knocking at your heart’s door!

As much as we love dreams we do not have a team in place to interpret dreams sent in.
Doug has some great products on understanding dreams that will really help you grow in dream interpretation though. https://dougaddison.com/training/dream-interpretation/
Two of my favorites are the Dream Crash Course and Doug’s book Understand Your Dreams Now.

I do get dreams/visions/ impressions/downloading of knowledge or revelations during sleep hours but not dreams. I smell things too. Many times, I get other people’s feelings which are not my own. What do you think my gift is ?
