Prophetic Word: Backlog of Revelation Being Released at Pentecost

May is going to be an awesome month with the release of God’s power. May 16–18 is the Jewish Holiday of Shavuot (Pentecost), and the Christian celebration is May 23.

New sound and wind

When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. Acts 2:1–2 NIV

There are going to be new sounds and winds from Heaven to blow things into place. What previously seemed impossible will start opening up with ease.

You will see a greater ability to hear the voice of the Lord, dreams, visions and angelic help starting this month and continuing.

Backlog of revelation

The Lord chose to send the Holy Spirit to us at Pentecost to fulfill the prophecy of Joel:

“‘In the last days,’ God says, ‘I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.’” Acts 2:17–18 NIV

The Lord is releasing prophecy, dreams, visions and greater power. Expect a release of new downloads from the Lord.

There has been a backlog of revelation due to the storms and the pandemic. The backlogged books of revelation and answers to prayer are being released.

See greater things and Jacob’s Ladder

Jesus said, “…You will see greater things than that.” He then added, “Very truly I tell you, you will see ‘heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending on’ the Son of Man.”
John 1:50–51 NIV

The Lord said, “You will start seeing greater things, and I am opening the heavens over you to bring greater revelation and angelic help.”

May supernatural help be sent to you from His sanctuary. Psalm 20:2 NIV

There is a release of angels and help from Heaven. Ask the Lord to open your eyes to see greater things, to open the heavens and install Jacobs’ Ladder (open Heaven) over you.

Greater glory and greater peace

Just as there was a literal shaking and wind at the original Pentecost, so the Lord is bringing a fresh, new wave of Holy Spirit power that will bring a glory that we haven’t seen in a long time.

“‘The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house,’ says the Lord Almighty. ‘And in this place I will grant peace,’ declares the Lord Almighty.” Haggai 2:9 NIV

The Lord is releasing greater glory and granting peace that surpasses all understanding. Dig your roots deep into the peace of the Lord, and you will not be swayed.

Books of suffering are being balanced

Record my misery; list my tears on your scroll—are they not in your record? Psalm 56:8 NIV

The scrolls and books of your tears and suffering are being reconciled this month. The Lord has not forgotten you. Every moment of your suffering, pain and tears have been recorded.

There is a mass exodus out of the wilderness and the dark night of the soul. The Lord is breaking the spirit of depression, suicide and death.

Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. Psalm 126:5 NIV

Joy returning

You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy, that I might sing praises to you and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give you thanks forever! Psalms 30:11–12 NLT

There is power here to break off isolation and feeling alone or forgotten.

Joy is returning to the house! You might need to take it by force and do things opposite of the attack coming against you. Get up and dance, go for walks and laugh. Making small changes will bring big results in this area.

Plans of restoration

Now here I am, alive and well, fully restored. Psalm 30:3 TPT

If you are still alive, then you have made it through a more difficult time and attack than you might have realized. The Lord is saying, “You have made it through the testing and preparation for what is just ahead.”

Ask the Lord to bring your restoration plan! Stand up right now and proclaim, “I am alive and well and fully restored!”
