Restoration of Hope

The Lord is doing a deep work and healing us to prepare us for what is ahead.

The Lord is restoring hope

But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love. Psalms 33:18 NIV

The Lord is watching over us and He’s removing the things that are holding us back from getting our breakthrough.

Wait and stay in hope

We wait in hope for the Lord; he is our help and our shield. Psalms 33:20 NIV

We have been in a time of transition and waiting on the Lord. He has been bringing deeper healing and is shielding us by his Holy Spirit.

[Tweet “There are warring and helper angels around us and being assigned daily.“]

There are warring and helper angels around us and being assigned daily.

The Lord’s unfailing love

May your unfailing love be with us, Lord, even as we put our hope in you. Psalms 33:22 NIV

The Lord loves you! He loves us all, and He will never forsake us.

God is revealing His heart of love for us and bringing renewal.

This is a time to be encouraged!

Step into worship and joy. Stay in hope and do not give up.

There is power in worshiping the Lord. Singing and praying in the Spirit will lift you up right now and renew your strength.

Be encouraged and don’t give up

Prayer:

Lord, we agree with Your Word that those whose hope is in Your unfailing love will be protected, that those who wait and hope in You will have a shield around them … and that Your unfailing love will be our hope.
We wait on You, Lord, as You renew our strength. We thank You, Lord, that You’re making things clear to us.
In Jesus’ name.

How to break through

I’m going to walk you through a process that I use.

I find Bible verses, pray in the promises, agree with others, and do deep repentance of anything I might have “in common” that would stop the Lord from moving and blessing.

It’s important to add worship, fun and joy to this!

Think about it, pray about it and let’s agree together for your needs.

 What do you specifically need?

Here’s how you can remove any strongholds, jam-ups, gridlocks and delays.

Repent, renounce, and break anything you have “in common,” including generational, soul ties, curses, things that you may have done knowingly or unknowingly.

Come into agreement in prayer to break out of things that are holding you back.

Forgive, and break off the spirit of unforgiveness. (You don’t have to agree with the person or people who wanted you to forgive them.)

 Prayer:

Lord, I ask forgiveness if I’ve done anything that has hurt anyone. If I’ve come into agreement with anything knowingly or unknowingly against this message … Or that would stop You from breaking me out of the old season and into the new.
Also, I ask forgiveness for any misuse of finances, spiritual gifts, or anything that You’ve given me, known or unknown.
Lord, we ask You to flush out the things that are unseen and bring them into the true light of the true Throne of Grace.
In the name of the true Jesus. Amen.

Blessings,

    Good evening Doug

Here is one of my older poems
When I read over my writing of a couple of years ago then I want to change words or even spelling to fix it, but then I realize it was part of what I went through at that time. I can also see how I have changed in my writing and have grown in myself in what I write today. Each season of writing has a character of its own and I don’t want to change that.

    Stillness in between

    So many things have happened
So many words were spoken; happy and saddened
Questions were raised, of how could that be?
Maybe the answers can only be found in the stillness in between

Nothing seems to stay the same anymore
Familiar guarantees have lost their foothold on the floor
    Surroundings have been contaminated;
In desperate need of a new brush to clean
Trying to catch a breath in the stillness in between

Getting an education brings a lot to keep in mind
More is required than the paper at hand being assigned
It might be about the money at first; later on, life is changing the scenes
Loving what we do is the aim while living in the stillness in between

Hearts are longing for forgiveness and peace
A place to belong, hands that hold each other for keeps
Nothing that had happened could be foreseen
A resting place can be found in the stillness in between

Noise fall to pieces over our heads
Day in and day out it goes through our souls as it wide spreads
Not leaving much space for the rhythm of our heartbeats
Knocking every day on the stillness in between

Close your eyes and listen to your heart
The stillness is waiting for you to take part
It is a voice from long ago
Or a voice that you have never known

God has always been by your side
We might not have notice His protection and guide
God invites us to visit Him
    In the stillness in between

    Good afternoon Doug

    Maandag
    Devotion

    Humility as a teacher

    Jesus understood His mission
Coming to earth with God’s permission
Entering the world of humans on earth
Telling them of God’s love and rebirth

Jesus humbled Himself to come and teach
The heart of the Father to us, in word and speech
His life as an example of humility towards others
Yet never compromised the truth of the Father

Jesus had all the answers, but restrained from expanding
Parables helped with people’s lack of understanding
So they can discover the truth for themselves
Going deeper into their spirit through prayer for divine help

Love and pain are both teachers
Jesus brought light, why He came with reasons
Following the commandments being in covenant with God
Keeping us safe in His grace and love

    2 Corinthians 8:9

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich.

    Good evening Doug

    MY DAD

It is not suppose to be like this
My dad without provision coming with
How did the world became so inhuman
Taking away the dignity of this man

But God is also the Father of many
He sees the injustice and the envy
Knowing who His real children are
Like my dad with a pure heart

God knew how I needed my dad
In my childhood with the example I had
So I can serve God like I was taught
Living in the same way and thought

If it wasn’t for my dad, how would I have known
Who You really are, sitting on the throne
Speaking to my heart like You do
Giving me courage through Your love pursuit

I could have never made it this far
    Without Your gentle guidance part
Pressing on my heart and mind
What to say and do for mankind

Father God, please help me to help my dad
In what He needs so bad
His trust in You fills me with faith
Sitting next to him in church on Sundays
