Why is God Shaking Things Up?

I keep hearing God say, “Get ready for the countdown.”

There is a turnaround coming to those who have gone through difficult times, have experienced the fire of testing or are stuck in a wilderness. God is getting us ready for the promotions that are coming at Rosh Hashanah on September 21–22 (the Jewish New Year).

Things are shaking all around, but don’t be afraid. The enemy wants to get you distracted and try to draw you into fear, panic and anger. God is releasing perfect peace and love that will change the spiritual atmosphere around you. This is not a time to regress or protest. Instead, it is a time to reset and come into agreement with Heaven and resist the attacks of the enemy.

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire.”
Hebrews 12:28–29 NIV

I released in my August prophetic word that the Lord’s fire is coming to test our works. This is necessary to burn away the things that are not of God and allow us to receive and move more freely.

… their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work. If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward.
1 Corinthians 3:13–14 NIV

God is also shaking things so that your foundation will be firmly established and you will be able to handle the new levels and anointing that are coming over the next few months. This is not intended to harm you.

You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. For, “In just a little while, he who is coming will come and will not delay.” Hebrews 10:36–37 NIV

The Lord is coming, but it is not the second coming of Jesus—not yet anyway. God is coming in a revival that will be greater than anything we have ever seen on Earth. He is aligning us right now to do greater works than we have ever known! These things will be rooted and grounded in love.
