Mission of InLight Connection

InLight Connection (InLight) is an internet-based ministry which equips and activates people to hear the voice of God, encounter the supernatural and discover their destiny. Doug Addison is the president and founder of InLight Connection, a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. Doug Addison is a prophetic speaker, author and coach.

Overview of Position

Note that we have just updated this position from the previous posting to include only online marketing and not content and copywriting.

This is a work-from-home management position that oversees our online and digital marketing teams. The Online Marketing Manager will provide direction, leadership and support for our communications and web teams (social media, graphic design and content copywriters).

Primary Responsibilities and Tasks Include:

  • Oversee all marketing initiatives, product launch campaigns and boost positive engagement and retention of our online customer and ministry base
  • Ensure that written and visual communication is consistent with Doug Addison/InLight Connection’s style, voice and brand and is optimized for all content channels (Includes website, social media, podcast, webcast, email, store, mobile, video, etc.)
  • Develop and implement SEO, analytics and split-testing strategies
  • Develop standards, processes and best practices for content strategy, content creation, distribution, maintenance, repurposing and retirement of Doug’s messages and resources
  • Conduct periodic customer surveys, content audits and make recommendations based on these results
  • Develop content themes/topics for online workshops, podcasts and blogs
  • Work with webmaster/technical specialists to implement strategies
  • Work closely with visual designer on all product launches, creative campaigns, branding initiatives and advertising to ensure a consistent message across channels
  • Participate in the hiring and supervising of team members/contractors

Ideal Candidates Will Have the Following Qualifications:

  • Have 5+ years experience in one or more of the fields of: online operations, project management, e-commerce, business management, team building or other related area of study or equivalent.
  • Be familiar with and/or practically experienced in all facets of virtual team management and project management of an internet-based business.
  • Have familiarity with online marketing systems such as Infusionsoft, WordPress, WooCommerce, etc.
  • Be a relationship builder, client service-oriented and a team player.
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures and brand style guides for content and marketing department functions.
  • Support Doug and the InLight Connection team, and engage with our online community in chat on Spirit Connection webcasts, workshops and webinars.
  • Agree with the core values of InLight Connection and desire to help advance the Kingdom of God through Doug Addison’s ministry.
  • Display a spirit of humility, positivity, be flexible, willing and able to handle change, while maintaining grace and poise under pressure.
  • You are a self-starter, self-manager with a strong work ethic and a “get-it-done” mentality.
  • You are a team builder who focuses on the success of the entire organization.
  • You are a strategic thinker and a decisive problem solver who can execute solutions.
  • You must be technologically savvy and eager to embrace and learn new technology.
  • You must own a reliable computer with current software needed to perform the above responsibilities and have access to a fast, reliable internet connection.

Additional Considerations

There is a difference between working in a corporate environment vs. a ministry environment. It is necessary to understand a “culture of honor” toward Doug and our leadership team.

We prefer people who have had ministry school training or equivalent, necessary inner healing along with the experience and background to hold up under the pressures of a busy, active ministry.

This is an independent contractor position. The pay is hourly and based on experience.
