Position: Systems & Web Administrator
Status: Full time - 30-35 hours per week
Location: Virtual position, within the US only
InLight Connection (InLight) trains people to hear the voice of God and to find and fulfill their destiny. Doug Addison is the President and Founder of InLight Connection, a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation.
Doug is a prophetic speaker, author and coach. He is best known for his Daily Prophetic Words and Spirit Connection podcast and blog. Doug’s message of love, hope and acceptance reaches people around the world! His powerful, lighthearted style of teaching and coaching helps open people to discover their spiritual identity and personal destiny as they experience God’s supernatural love and power.
InLight Connection’s office headquarters is in Santa Maria, California. We operate nationally with approximately 20 employees and contractors. Doug and Linda live in Los Angeles, California where they are impacting the arts and entertainment industry.
The Systems & Web Administrator develops and maintains the web presence of InLight Connection.
Ensures the maintenance of all websites, systems and web applications; provides web development, planning, search engine optimization, analytics, and training; builds marketing campaigns and sales funnels as provided and requested by our marketing team.
Researches and implements new tools, user interfaces and applications on the web. Adheres to laws and policies regarding accessibility, security and data protection. Provides technical support to users as needed; works with our sales and customer support team to resolve customer issues.
Identifies and improves systems to ensure the best-in-class user experience for all audiences: customers, online students, ministry partners, and the general public. Performs creative layout design and advises on web development enhancements.
This is a working manager position, meaning you will perform these tasks and manage the web team and/or various contractors through multiple projects with deadlines. You will also be responsible for ensuring the web support is accessible 24/7, utilizing the team.
The best candidate will be familiar with most of these already and have the necessary computer skills to learn and master our current processes:
There is a difference between working in a corporate versus a ministry environment. It is necessary to understand a “culture of honor” toward Doug, Linda and our leadership team.
We prefer (but not necessary) people who have had ministry school training and necessary inner healing along with the experience and background to hold up under the pressures of a busy, active ministry.
Even though this is a contractor position, please note that we operate on a Pacific Time schedule with occasional weekends. The bulk of our support and work needs require being available and accessible during our business operating hours. We are looking for a long-term relationship with someone who feels called to this by God and not someone who just needs a job.
This is a contractor position; the pay is hourly and based on experience.
