How to Know God’s Voice and Timing [Episode 89]

Do you want to know what Jesus said over 15 times in the Bible?

He said we must have “eyes to see and ears that hear.” He was talking about spiritual things.

God is speaking all the time, but most people are missing it or not understanding it. Recently, I got this word from God … “Listen up!”

So, in this Spirit Connection episode, I give you what I wish someone had given me 25 years ago about hearing God. You’ll find out the sole purpose of hearing God, many of the endless benefits that you get when you can hear God … and how to know whether it’s really His voice or not.

My specialty is getting people unstuck. I became a prophetic coach so that I can help move people forward. In this coaching session, you’ll learn how to “clear the airwaves” of some things that might be blocking you from hearing God’s voice, plus pointers to improve your hearing.

It is essential that you hear God’s voice to navigate your life. Today, I impart revelation to you to interact with Him in a greater way and give you some tips to open the heavens over your finances.

To top off this coaching session, I share 5 powerful steps you can do to hear God’s voice accurately.

A few things can get you out of alignment with God. This can get you back on His timetable … and in line with His heart.

Remember: You don’t have to be a prophet to hear God!

Hi Doug and staff, I had a strange thing happen a few nights ago. I was almost asleep when I heard a terrible noise. I opened my eyes and instinctively knew I had not heard anything with my physical ears in the natural world…. it was so real though! I was not afraid, just startled. I can only liken it to the sound of metal bars being snapped in two. I asked God to show me what I had heard, but I still am not sure what it was. When I mentioned it to my husband the next morning, he said he had experienced the same thing a few weeks ago and was so confused by it he tried to stop thinking about it. What do you think this was? I have been asking God for revelation and spiritual encounters this year; is this something you have had happen before?

Hey Karen! Yes that can happen. When you think of metals bars being broken, what do you think of? To me, that seems symbolic of freedom because metal bars are often found in jail cells.

Thanks for clarifying that this sometimes happens. I believe it is symbolic of a break-through I have been declaring for my family. We will no longer be bound by chains and bondage of depression and anxiety! Hallelujah!

    Hi Doug and InLight Team,
Previously in a blog post you wrote about the Lord Removing Grief and Sorrow and that we might need to take steps to activate that. Can you give more detail about how we can move toward that with some practical steps either in a blog or podcast?
    Thank You,
