My hair is a big deal to me. Call it vane (my wife does) but I don?t have any hobbies or pets but my hair takes about as much effort. I have had nothing but bad experiences with getting my hair cut in North Carolina. Since I do events on the West Coast every couple of months it seems to work out to get to my 2 favorite hair artist in San Francisco or Los Angles. Well, fate had it that I missed my last hair cut opportunity in LA so I could meet with a Hollywood producer instead. I was now locked into a NC hair cut. So I ran an ad on www.craigslist.com for someone who could do a Rod Stewart hair do ?with Goldwell Colortouch: -8N +5cc of 9G +20 Volume and highlights. I am not asking for much. Honest. I interviewed several potential stylists and chose one in Charlotte. Yes, I prayed about it and drove an hour and a half (beats flying 2500 miles) and was sure I would break through this negative association I developed. Unfortunately ? I came out looking more like Barry Manilow again. Maybe I can get a gig in Las Vegas for a while.
Hey don’t worry Doug about your disposition of your hair, the angels have a thing too also about their pinion feathers, it keep teasing them that since I am a scibe, that I need a new heavenly feather to write with. I can see them mischeviously pretending to reach for their swords. Angels are so fun. Maybe that is why I don’t get a ride into the heavenlies with them so often, and has to be a direct transport. lol
