Strategic season of hearing the Lord

This is indeed a powerful and strategic season we are in.

Passover: (April 15–23, 2022)  is a time to get strategies like Moses did to get set free.

Passover to Pentecost (April 15–June 5, 2022) is a 50-day season to hear the Lord and gain greater understanding, wisdom and revelation.

The winds of the Spirit are here

Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.
John 3:6–8 NIV  

The Lord is going to birth new understanding, and it will be refreshing like a “born again” encounter.

This is like the Winds of Change and it’s  blowing from Passover to Pentecost.

Guide to the next 50 days

Between now and Pentecost, you will see situations and circumstances suddenly turn around in unusual and unexpected ways. The spiritual atmosphere is changing and what was once difficult will become easier.

What looks like a loss will become your gain. Be sure to watch and wait as new doors and opportunities open for you.

Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. Colossians 4:2 NIV

What would have taken a lifetime to achieve will be accomplished in a short time. God is going to move radically in your life over the next few months. 

Stay focused, watch and pray.

Get ready to be stretched

Things are being brought to the surface for the purpose of strengthening you so that you can cross into the new season. God is doing things outside your comfort zone that may stretch your understanding.

We are being challenged to move into new levels. A new wave of revelation is being released that will help us progress. It will require us to let go of some current beliefs and actions that are no longer relevant for today.

Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes. Isaiah 54:2 NIV

Trials will bring advancement

It will be important to not resist or run from trials and testing. Testing is not a bad thing and God is going to use it to prepare you for advancements and promotions over the next few months.

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. James 1:2–4 NIV

We are in a time of the Lord’s fire—testing our works.

Their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work. If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward. 1 Corinthians 3:13–14 NIV

Words of life required

New power and authority are coming upon your words. You will need to be careful with what you say, because your words can bring spiritual life or death. I know I have mentioned it before, but the Lord wants this to become a reality in your life.

We need to be very careful that we are not speaking withering words over ourselves or others. We need to speak fruitful words and have fruitful thoughts. When we speak negative things, it can cause our spiritual and creative lives to wither and no longer bear fruit. (Matthew 21:19-21)

I had to go through a time of healing for this in my own life.

God showed me that this is the condition of many people today. They have spoken withering words over themselves, or someone else has spoken withering words over them. This has caused their gifts and spiritual fruit to dry up.

God is now giving us an opportunity to reverse this. We need to recognize areas of our lives that once flourished but are now withering. We can speak over these areas with prayers like, “Be fruitful and no longer wither!”

Prayer strategy

• Lord, show me what You want me to see. (That’s aligning with the truth.)  
• Show me what the enemy does not want me to see. (That’s discernment.)
• Allow me to be seen as You see me, not as the enemy wants me to be seen. (That’s favor.)
• Reveal which promises are for now and which ones are for later. (That’s timing.)
• Repay and release what was stolen and held back by the enemy. (That’s justice.)
• Show me how to practically respond. (That’s wisdom.)
