Freedom Breakthrough Session

Keys to freedom from the past

Unrelenting disappointment leaves you heartsick, but a sudden good break can turn life around. Proverbs 13:12 MSG

Ask the Lord if you have anything you need to let go of.

[Tweet “Ask the Lord if you have anything you need to let go of.”]

Lord, I lay down any past hurts, disappointments and broken heartedness. I ask you to cleanse me and set me free!

Spiritual alignment prayer

Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. Colossians 3:2 NIV

Lord, I ask You to align me with Your will for this season. Break any ties and chains to the past. Reset my connection with You and with those who You are calling me to walk with in freedom for this season.

Ask for your strategy

Jesus seldom healed people the same way.

  • He laid hands on some (Luke 4:40).
  • He spit on the ground and made mud (John 9:6).
  • He just said the word and the person was healed (Matthew 8:8–13).
  • He mentioned the need for prayer and fasting (Mark 9:29).

Jesus knew God’s healing strategy for each person!

Steps to a healing strategy

  • Pray daily for your healing.
  • Find others to agree with (Ecclesiastes 4:12).
  • Take communion daily and quiet yourself to hear God.
  • Decree Bible verses (Job 22:28).

Ask God to show you what He wants You to see, and what Satan does not want you to see. Take notes.

Prayer for healing

Lord, reveal the root cause of any health issue I have. I approach the Throne of Grace boldly (Hebrews 4:16) and I petition you to bring healing.

“He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.” 1 Peter 2:24 NIV

Freedom from the wilderness

The Lord will use a wilderness experience to help you get stronger in your faith and move into maturity.

Jesus started His ministry by going into the wilderness.

Purpose of the spiritual wilderness

Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, left the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness.
Luke 4:1 NIV

The wilderness can increase our dependence on God, break patterns of sin, bring us into alignment with God’s will and reveal hidden things.

Just as Jesus left the wilderness, we need to be sure to get out as soon as we can.

The dark night of the soul is an extended wilderness time. If you are in this, ask the Lord for what you need to get out.

You might need some inner healing, anointed counseling, a deliverance session or coaching.

Hearing God for your financial plan

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11 NIV

Let the prophetic plan of the Holy One of Israel quickly come to pass so that we can see what it is! Isaiah 5:19 TPT

God wants us to prosper and be a blessing to others!

[Tweet “God wants us to prosper and be a blessing to others!”]

We need to break off ungodly beliefs about money and the hidden ties to the spirit of greed, Mammon, and the spirits of the flesh and the world.

Practical steps about your finances

  • Be wise and get advice, especially on big decisions.
  • Learn to recognize God’s voice. God will guide you and speak to you about your money.
  • Learn to live within your means and use a budget.
  • Pay off debt.
  • Develop a lifestyle of earning, giving, saving, and spending in moderation.

But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today. Deuteronomy 8:18 NIV

The Lord will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The Lord your God will bless you in the land he is giving you. Deuteronomy 28:8 NIV

True wealth and riches are a relationship with God our Father through Jesus Christ.

How to thrive and not just survive

There I will give her back her vineyards, and will make the Valley of Achor (trouble) a door of hope. Hosea 2:15 NIV

Many people have been in survival mode, but it is time to walk out of the valley of trouble and through the door of hope.

The season is changing, and we need to step out of the past seasons of pain!

Ask the Lord for full healing and financial breakthrough. It is often a process, but it can happen instantly.

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9 NKJV
