The Lord Is Our Protection

Trust the Lord

But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing the Lord’s praise, for He has been good to me. Psalm 13:5–6 NIV

Prayer: We thank you, Lord, for your unfailing love. We praise You and sing to You for Your goodness. For surely You have been good to us!

Take time to worship the Lord and focus on the good things He has done. Add to it singing and joy. The Lord will open up to us in greater ways.

Shout for joy

Shout for joy to God, all the earth! Sing the glory of his name; make his praise glorious. Psalm 66:1–2 NIV

As we take time to sing and worship, it will help us draw closer to the Lord. Do things like singing in the Spirit and shouting for joy. There is a special anointing and power from the Lord to worship, praise and be joyful.

It will also help when we recount good things the Lord has done for us.

It is important to stay encouraged and to encourage others.

Stay in a place of prayer, reading the Bible and worshiping the Lord. The joy of the Lord is our strength!

The joy of the Lord

Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations. Psalm 100:4–5 NIV

Many people have been in difficult times and storms. But the Lord is giving us new strength and the ability to stand.

The Lord is fighting our battles and bringing things into order. He will give us some specific Bible verses to help us pray and stand. And in some cases, to help us understand.

The Lord is our protection

But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you.  Psalm 5:11 NIV

The Lord is releasing new hope and help. Trust the Lord, wait in hope and do not give up.

The Lord is releasing a new understanding of His unfailing love. Warrior angels and helper angels are being released. He is shielding us and protecting us during this time.

A big part of this is worshiping, praying and decreeing Bible verses. Reach out to others for agreement in prayer.

Repentance prayer to break through:

I’m going to walk you through a process that I use. I find Bible verses, pray in the promises, agree with others, and do deep repentance of anything I might have “in common” that would stop the Lord from moving and blessing us.

It is important to add worship, fun and joy to this.

Think about it, pray about it and let’s agree together for your needs!

What do you specifically need?

Here’s how you can remove any strongholds, jam-ups, gridlocks and delays:

Repent, renounce, and break anything we have “in common” … including generational—soul ties, curses, and things that we may have done knowingly or unknowingly.

We also come into agreement in prayer to break out of things that are holding us back.

We forgive and break off the spirit of unforgiveness. (We don’t have to agree with the person or people who wanted us to forgive them.)

Lord, I ask forgiveness if I have done anything that has hurt anyone … If I’ve come into agreement with anything knowingly or unknowingly against this message. Or anything that would stop You from breaking us out of the old season and into the new.

Also, I ask forgiveness for any misuse of anything You’ve given me, known or unknown.

Lord, we ask You to flush out the things that are unseen and send them to where the true Jesus sends them.

In the name of the true Lord Jesus. Amen.

Blessings,

    Good afternoon Doug

I had to rely on God, trying to focus with blurry eyesight. I have to write my devotions so that I can also know what is going on and what to do and I will write here for a while

    Devotion

    When God’s spirit takes over

Our mind, emotions and body can go out of control
Giving ourselves over fot the tender handling of our souls
God spirit will live us where we are
Taking over when things are tough

When God takes possession of our heart
Solutions will come forth from our spirit part
Our strength will come through wise discernment
God’s love brings clarity being transparent
