Raising Up Prayer and Help

Let’s get started

I have been sharing over the last few weeks about the difficult times we’ve been going through. When we are going through difficult times, the Lord is our stronghold and help.

This is what the Lord has been speaking to me and how we have been praying.

The Lord is pouring out His great love and power for us right now!

The Lord is our refuge and stronghold

The salvation of the righteous comes from the Lord; he is their stronghold in time of trouble. The Lord helps them and delivers them; he delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in him. Psalms 37:39-40 NIV

When we are in need, or going through difficult times we can press into the Lord.

Pray, utilize the Bible, and ask for forgiveness and mercy. If you are not in a difficult time, you can do this for others.

The Bible is very powerful

But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations. Psalms 33:11 NIV

The Lord is calling us to use the Bible, prayer and repentance. This will help us and get us through difficult times or even our daily lives.

I’ve been using Psalm 33 and other Bible verses to pray and proclaim the Lord’s great love and power over us.

We can take refuge in the Lord

Keep me safe, my God, for in you I take refuge. Psalms 16:1 NIV

Praying, repenting, and using Bible verses is very powerful. We can call out to the Lord for mercy, forgiveness, protection and safety.

The Lord is rescuing us

He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me. Psalms 18:17 NIV

This is such a powerful verse! The Lord is rescuing us, and He is our stronghold in times of trouble and distress.

More about our difficult time

I am asking you to consider praying for Linda and I, our families, our friends, and our ministry.

WE STILL HAVE A VERY URGENT FINANCIAL NEED!

Our ministry, InLight Connection, is in need of an urgent financial boost right away.

We are asking people to pray for us as we are going through this time.

Also, please pray and ask the Lord about giving to our ministry.

As well

Linda and I recently lost two close family members in the last few weeks. My sister and her husband went to Heaven. They both were very strong examples of faith.

Linda and I have been in a time of transition with our ministry. I was able to use the entire month of April for prayer and to receive counsel. I know this prepared us to go through what we are going through now.

Prayer:

Thank you so much, Lord, for Your loving-kindness through good times or difficulties. We ask You for mercy, safety, protection and greater power and declare, “peace be still.” In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord.

Repentance prayer to break through:

I’m going to walk you through a process that I use.
I find Bible verses, pray in the promises, agree with others, and do deep repentance of anything I might have “in common” that would stop the Lord from moving and blessing us.
It is important to add worship, fun and joy to this!
Think about it, pray about it and let’s agree together for your needs.
What do you specifically need?
Here’s how you can remove any strongholds, jam-ups, gridlocks and delays:
Repent, renounce, and break anything we have “in common” … including generational—soul ties, curses and things we may have done knowingly or unknowingly.
We also come into agreement in prayer to break out of things that are holding us back.
We forgive and break off the spirit of unforgiveness. (We don’t have to agree with the person or people who wanted us to forgive them.)
Lord, I ask forgiveness if I have done anything that has hurt anyone. If I’ve come into agreement with anything, knowingly or unknowingly, against this message. Or anything that would stop You from breaking us out of the old season and into the new.
Also, I ask forgiveness for any misuse of anything You’ve given me, known or unknown.
Lord, we ask You to flush out the things that are unseen and send them to where the true Jesus sends them.
In the name of the true Lord Jesus. Amen

Blessings,

P.S. Thank you to all of those who partner with us and give on a regular basis. You are holding our arms up in the spirit right now, and we are truly grateful. For those who have not yet given or it’s been a while, please consider giving now (or partnering with us monthly) … to help. Our ministry is in urgent need of a financial boost to get us through this transition period we are in.

    USE WHAT WE HAVE

The widow of Zarepath helped Elijah
He helped her, multiplying the flower and oil in a jar
There was enough for her family and him
God blessed what they brought in unity

In a recipe the ingredients are different
Not the same amount either, stay obedient
    Follow the instructions carefully
Using the right method with creative thinking

If we use what we have with intend
Joining together we all win in the end
Others can add their spiceciness also
This new taste will keep us well for growth

Each one has some value to offer
Life is easier when we stand shoulder to shoulder
Use what we have to make a difference
Our lives will give others new vision

Sometimes we don’t realize what we have
God make us aware how a small thing can expand
Throwing light on a solution we never thought of
His ways look subtle but it changes hearts

Sensitivity to God’s voice and direction
So vital in making peace our destination
The signs are there, just follow them
    Experience brings valuable content.

    Good evening Doug

I prayed with Jenn Johnson – Send me, El Shadai and Heaven come
I love being in the present d of God and He reveals many things to me.
I don’t even know what they are until I speak or write something. God is my source and I get my reassurance from Him. I had a long conversation with God and told Him what bothers me and what I would really like and understand in my life. God takes me as I am and don’t wait for all the warfare or trauma or negativity to pass before He wants to do something. He steps in and make things happen because He is God and He loves me with all my shortcomings and doesn’t wait until I am all sorted out and happy and friendly before He does something in my life. His peace surpasses all understanding.

    Take Care
    Lizelle
