I Will Take Refuge in the Lord

Taking refuge

We’re in the midst of the holidays and we need to take refuge in the Lord.

Prayer: Lord, we thank You for Your goodness. We thank You for Your Holy Spirit. We thank You for Jesus Christ who died on the cross and was resurrected from the dead. Thank You that through Your Word and through these things we can take refuge in Him. We thank You for Your goodness. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Psalm 91

If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling,
no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. Psalm 91:9–12 NIV

These are powerful verses! Write these verses down, come into agreement and pray with us!

Make the Most High your dwelling, and no harm will overtake you! No disaster will come near you.

The Lord will command His angels concerning you and they will guard you in all your ways. They will lift you up in their hands so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.

You can stand on Psalm 91 while you’re in a time of transition.

Decreeing Bible verses

I’ve been teaching on finding some Bible verses, decreeing them, coming into agreement, and then repenting for anything in common with the enemy.

Prayer: Lord, we thank You for Your goodness and we repent. We repent, renounce and break anything that we might have “in common” … including generational curses, soul ties—anything known or unknown that would be stopping You from opening things up for us. In Jesus’ name.

Not on sabbatical yet

We’re in a time of transition and trying to raise some funds so Linda and I can take a sabbatical. Just to be clear—we are not on sabbatical yet.

We’re asking the Lord to raise up people to donate or partner with us monthly. We need 1000 people to partner with us for $55 a month. This will help InLight Connection to stay going.

You can go to DougAddison.com/TimeOff to read more about our plan.

Monthly Mentoring Sessions are set up, and we’ve already had some powerful speakers. We just had Evangelist Sean Smith, a friend of mine, and Brian Simmons, translator of The Passion Translation.

We are seeking the Lord to get the breakthrough we need right now!

We need your prayers and support during this time.

Lord, we ask that You would open things up over us all. In Jesus’ name.

Blessings,

Doug Addison

P.S. Thank you to all of those who partner with us and give on a regular basis. You are holding our arms up in the spirit right now, and we are truly grateful. For those who have not yet given or it’s been a while, please consider giving now (or partnering with us monthly) … to help, just click HERE. Becoming a Partner will give you access to our upcoming guest speaker events. These meetings are going to be POWERFUL!
