Returning to Our First Love

In this special excerpt, Bonnie Jones shares how the body of Christ is ready to receive her first love. The veil of deception has been removed from the mind and it’s been replaced with the Spirit of Truth!

Bonnie mentioned that over the years she’s prayed many times for people when they’re having difficulties, and most of the time their problems or issues are rooted in unforgiveness. 

People may feel like they have all kinds of pressure coming against them, and many even complain of physical ailments. As soon as Bonnie places her hand on them, the Lord typically shows her that the person is dealing with a veil of deception on their mind. So, that is a prayer and deliverance strategy. However, the person can choose to take back the veil of deception.

A real veil of deception has come against the body of Christ, but the Lord has removed that and has replaced it with the Spirit of Truth.

It’s so important we stay in the Word and gain understanding.

Bonnie remarked that, “The bride of Christ will abandon everything to be with her first love, for He is all that truly matters to her! He will be the only focus that she has. He is her beloved.”

Bonnie showed the cover of this year’s Shepherd’s Rod. The Lord spoke to Bonnie in a dream and showed her a young man who represented her first love. This young man was in a military uniform, so the cover of the book represents that. And in her dream, nothing was going to keep her from running to her first love. This is how the bride of Christ is … and should be.

When the Bride sees Jesus, nothing is going to prevent her from being one with Him.

Bonnie then talked about how different people can represent different things in dreams. Sometimes Bob Jones represents the Holy Spirit in her dreams and sometimes her first husband represents the Father. Sometimes her mother represents the Church, and her sister represents wisdom.

Tip: Pay attention to how God speaks to you and write it down. You will be able to connect the dots as your history with God grows. It’s an adventure!

Bonnie continued with these comments: 

We are returning to our first love, and it’s going to be like nothing we’ve ever experienced before.

The Lord wants face-to-face encounters with His bride!
